The punch did little to him. Despite his small frame, he felt like a soft tree. He smiled back at Alpha, glumly noticing her changes. He hugged her back the best he could with the cup in his hand, patting her back with his free hand.
"Its good to see you too, Alex." he said, his tail wagging a little.

"Mm. How's it going? Where have you been?" Alpha said quickly "I've missed you"
-
"Things have been well, and I've been, uh, busy. Been here, there, out and about, taking care of the kids, et cetera." he replied, the cup of tea in his hand evaporating so he could hug her all the way. "I've missed you too." he said as he closed his eyes, rubbing her back.
-
Alpha let go after a bit "Well....I assume you have a few questions too."
-
"Ah, yes. Your appearance." he stated, clearing his throat. "Are you alright, Alex?" he asked, his luminescent silver eyes shining softly in the dim light of the hall, casting a ghostly look on his concerned face.
-
"...I'm fine." She gave an unconvincing smile "I got older. Got into a few more fights.....and lost an eye." She said, summing it up quickly
-
"Sounds rough.." he said in a tone that can only be described by a sunset during a thunderstorm. "Wanna head somewhere to talk about it?" he asked, stroking what looked like a goatee on his chin.
-
"Why not." She said, sighing
-
"I mean, if you don't want to, you dont have to." he followed up. He then held out a hand, a cup of tea in his grasp. "Tea?"
-
She pushed it away "Not a tea kind of gal." She said, shaking her head
-
"Hot chocolate?" he then asks, and suddenly the scent changed. It smelled like...well, hot chocolate.
-
"How would you feel if I went After Hovark?" She said, quietly
-
The cup blew away with a nonexistent breeze as a more serious expression crossed his face. "I thought he already died." Q said, tilting his head. "Ahg, I miss too much..If you're saying this than that implies he's still alive.." he muttered to himself, rubbing his forehead. "Look, from what I know, that due is paid. You both died, you both are back. To me, the score is settled. Going after him is only going to cause more problems, you know this."
-
"I didn't kill him. He still owes me." She said tiredly "And You have a lot to learn. you don't know the half of it, Quincy."
-
"Then educate me." he says simply, twirling a thin stick of ice in his hand. Something noticeable about him was that he was a lot thinner than the last time they spoke, his overall frame smaller.
-
"I have suffered much, and learned one thing. Sometimes you need a deterrent. Hovark? He's mine." She said "I kill him, I send a message: I'm not hiding behind my friends anymore"
-
"You've gotta be careful what kind of message you send, Alex.." Q said softly, looking at her in concern. "You kill Hovark..and...technically you'd be killing family.." he said in a bit of a choked voice. "Im married to Vir, Vir is Sketch's brother, Hovark is related to Sketch by law.." he continued, his eyes glazing over, or were they dampening? "Alex, this could get bad, really bad.." he said after a pause, rubbing his arms nervously.
-
"I don't care. I don't have a family, remember?" She said harshly "He has to pay. And his family won't get the body back either. The people caring for me then didn't get mine back."

Quincy's ear twitched as he pushed his feelings back down into his mental basement, a deep breathe leaving his mouth as he sighed. He wasn't going to have a breakdown the first day he decides to walk around in broad daylight. Alpha then suddenly finds a rolled up sock stuffed in her mouth, keeping her from saying anything else. "Please, lets just change the subject.." said Q as he tensed, shivering for a moment.
-
Then Q would find a literal flaming fist hit him in the head, and the sock would be thrown onto his face "Don't do that." She said angrily
-
The fist passed through empty space, Quincy currently out of sight. "You know, its rude to try to hit your elders." he grumbled, hanging from a chandelier that was conveniently placed in the room.
-
She disappeared in a puff of smoke, and Q would feel a massive force hit the back of his head "I'M WAY OLDER THAN YOU DAMNIT"
-
He smacked into the ground face first, an audible crunch echoing out in the hall as his face broke, more or less. Groaning and and rolling to the side, he jabbed a stimpack into his neck, writhing as he felt his bones knit back together slowly.
-
"Now what the hell do you want to talk about?" Alpha said, fuming. She had certainly developed a short fuse
-
He looked up at her, his nose still bent to the left, blood streaming down his face from where bones used to jar out. A wince racked his features his nose snapped back into place. "Nothing, not anymore." he said as he stood, brushing himself off. His steps were silent as he walked away down the hall, quiet as a mouse.
-
The sounds of Alpha punching the wall were audlible, even as the crunch of bone breaking followed. Another friend turned enemy. Great.
