A Dance of Blades...
Sim room.
The sabre slashed into the first hologram with a practiced ease, faking to make an opening in the target's defenses. Angelo stepped back as he swing the blade, turning and sidestepping another slash as he did. He slammed the pommel into the hologram's jaw as he quickly followed it up with a stab into the hologram's gut. The simulated deck of the ship under him creaked as he faced his next opponent, parrying a stab towards his gut as he pinched the man in the face. He dropped his blade, grammes the man and knees him square in the jaw, sending him back a bit and knocking him out. He drew the sword again, taking offensive on the next and final crew member. He chopped down, a stroke that was parried by the man, who retaliated with a stab. Angelo drew his kukri from his hip, blocking it and slamming the blade into his opponents neck. He finally turned to face the captain of the ship, locking Blades with the man as the two circled each other
Lon donned his usual apparel, giving him an almost pirate like appearance especially with the bandana and tricorn hat. Of course the sene added to it and the sim made sure he looked the part. He wore dark brown baggier pants, a white button up with a few buttons at the top undone. One hand was on his chest as the other held the sabre as he circled with his opponent. He mad the first stab, parried away as was his opponents counter slash. He grabbed the captain's arm, slamming the handguard of his Saber into the man's face to knock him back. The captain barely blocked Angelo's slash, as Angelo unleashed a flurry of blows to push him to the edge of the ship. He gripped the captain's jaw, trying to force him overboard, nearly succeeding until he was kicked in the stomach and knocked back. The captain moved forward, faking a slash from the right before changing it to one stragint down. It was sidestepped by a millimetre as Angelo knees him in the gut, making him double over as he stepped to the side, gripping his sabre with both hands as he slammed the blade through the man's neck, severing neck from shoulders. Angelo sheathed his blade with a small flourish as he took a step up onto the ship where the wheel was, looking over his new Galleon before it faded from existence, Angelo removing the hat as he did, sighing a bit.

Angelo heard giggling behind him. Familiar giggling, that sounded a lot like a certain Titan with a Ghost that sounded like Doomfist.
-
Angelo laughed a bit as he spoke "Yeah, yeah, laugh it up." Angelo said, not turning around just yet. Partially because he was still picturing the scene in front of him, partially because he was a little embarrassed.
-
"Hey only one way to learn, right?" Blake asked.
-
"What, to make sure the door is shut? Don't worry, on important moments I don't." He said as he grinned a bit, turning around. There was something about the clothing he wore that just suited his body. Maybe in another life he would've been a navyman.
-
"Doors... I womder how many metaphors people have me out of them."
-
"Plenty, for all manner of things." He said grinning and shaking his head a bit. Even with the adrenaline from fighting, Angelo felt calm around Blake. It was nice. He moved forward, hugging him.
-
Blake hugged back, happily. He was unusally calm.
-
Angelo spoke. "You seem pretty calm today. What, someone spoke your drink?" He said teasingly, planting a kiss on Blake's cheek
-
"No, I had my ass handed to me by Chase in sparring match with swords."
-
"Well, like I said, I'm always open to teach you some stuff about handling swords if you want. I've got a good deal of experience."
-
"I don't even know the basics."
-
"Well, there's only one way to learn, isn't there?" He said, as he took a step back, ending the hug but still smiling
-
Blake sighed, "I do need to learn."
-
"What kind of sword we talking about here? One handed or two?"
-
"It can be used as both, I'd seen people use blades similar to it used both ways."
-
"Well, show me the sword and I'll see if I can't help you learn."
-
"Okay.." In Blake's hands now was the Raze-Lighter, his hands wrapped around the handle.
-
"Well, certainly a big one." He said, laughing a bit. He had stopped trying to not make it sound like jokes
-
"Yeah," Blake chuckled. His hand felt at the dark shard, which was a storage and conduit of Solar light to the rest of the blade.
-
"Alright, draw your sword and I'll give you some pointers. Don't worry, nobody's gonna make fun of someone learning."
-
"Watch your puns," Blake warned.
-
"That was one of the few that weren't puns." He said laughing a bit.

Edited by Splashback77: 12/18/2017 2:23:02 AM"Alright." Blake raised his sword.
-
"Alright. Biggest thing to remember: do not flinch. In a swordfight, if you flinch when your opponent strikes at you he knows he can beat you easily. It's hard at first, but once you know what you're doing it's a lot easier. Now, one handed, how far up and down you grip the handle will determine if you have more power or control. Control is better when you need to slice so you can line up your blade properly and power is better when you have a wider target and can afford to aim a little less." He said, a simulated version of his blade now in Angelo's hand. "Two hands, your top hand is your power hand, and you bottom is your control hand. You generally have more of both control and power with two hands, but of course you lose the extra empty hand."
-
Blake nodded. He seemed to understand.
