But then something happened. There was a beeping coming from the radio, followed shortly with a man talking on the other end, his voice nonchalant. And the voice was Grant’s.
“Whoever is hearing this, I’m either dead or about to be dead. May be Legion. May be sickness. May be something totally unrelated. I dunno. But all I’m here to say is... My heart stopped. Had sensors put in to tell and activate the radio. So... If you’re an enemy congratulations. If you’re a friend my condolences, but I’m not coming back from this one, unless you get Death on the line again. It’s not likely, though. And I’ve got a message for a few people here. Don’t bother trying to save me. You’d just be saving a broken man anyways. Irina, if this is you, turn the knob forty degrees. Panta, if this is you, turn it twenty-five. Bedlam, if this is you, turn it eighty-seven. Traci, if this is you, turn it four degrees. If you’re part of the enemy, turn it three-hundred and seven degrees.”

Edited by Stitch: 12/11/2017 6:19:14 AMThe trigger was pulled, sending a round through Bedlam's head the instant the beep was heard. Near the end he sat up, holding his head that somehow healed already from the wound. His eyes a pure blue. "Bloody hell...87. Got to remember that." He swiftly laid Grant on the ground and placed both hands on his chest before sending a strong electrical current through him like a defibrillator. "Hey, a stopped heart doesn't mean a dead brain. Get up, Grant..." At the same time his knife wound would begin to patch itself up. "I've only got so much power left, man, get uuuup."
-
Grant wouldn’t get up. Not today. His heart stopped, his blood gone. He’d bled too much, not enough blood to get oxygen to his brain by the time Bedlam had tried to heal him. The healing would close the wounds, but it wouldn’t put his soul back in his body.
-
"F*ck, I'm rusty...." He sighed, sitting back down in a chair. "I should be able to revive him though...or at least the real Bedlam." Bedlam glanced over at the radio before etching 87 degrees and an arrow pointing at the radio onto the table with the knife. "Try and not break down crying, Bedlam. You're about balance and peace now...happy thoughts." He then blinked a few times and looked around in confusion, quickly spotting the etchings and radio. "The hell?" Bedlam turned the radio to 87 degrees before noticing the dead Grant on the floor. He set down the radio before falling to his knees beside the dead man. "G-Grant...you okay?"
-
The radio began to play, a few sentences into a transmission. It was in Grant’s voice. “-n to me. Listen. I know I’m not here now. But I need you to be strong. You’re what they’ve got now. I know you can do it. I’ve got someone coming to help. Take care of Panta and Traci for me. Make sure Irina doesn’t get herself killed. And slap the hell out of Jamie for me, will you? She needs to step up to the plate for once. I’ll miss you, Bedlam. And everyone else. Please, tell anyone who was listed to turn the knob. It’ll be a great service to me. I may be gone, but I’m always here with you.”
-
Tears dropped onto Grant's limp body as Bedlam listened, crying silently. He was so confused and terrified in the moment. Grant's limp body lay before him and he couldn't remember why. The fact there were no wounds made him even more confused. "H-How...?"
-
Then there was silence. Pure, soundless silence. It was just Bedlam in a room with Grant and another man’s corpse.
-
Edited by Stitch: 12/11/2017 6:47:46 AMBedlam somehow found himself rather...calm and collected in the moment. He got up and pocketed the radio before kneeling beside Grant again. "We're going to get you help, Grant." The two of them would vanish, reappearing in the library. "VIOLET?! REAGAN?!"
-
Reagan came running, looking frantic. When she realized it was just Bedlam holding a corpse, she breathed a sigh of relief. She ran right over. “Let me guess, somebody killed Grant? I can fix it. I just need a few squirrels and about a week or two.” Reagan began to look around Grant’s body, examining everything.
-
"A week or two?! I...that's good." He sighed, getting up on his feet. Violet ran into the room, fire in her hands. "WHAT'S GO-Oh....Grant." She almost instantly noticed the dead man.
-
“Yep. Hey Mom, can you go get me some squirrels or something? Need to use the souls to bring his back, but it’ll take a while.” Reagan began lifting up different parts of Grant’s clothing around his chest. “Stab to the heart... Magic healing... Bedlam, do you even know what happened?”
-
Violet nodded to her daughter before vanishing. "Stab? Healing? I have no clue, but the healing makes me understand why I saw no wounds." He knelt back down again, looking over at Reagan. "Do you know?"
-
“I’m a healer, not a scryer. All I know is that he was stabbed and healed. Don’t know by what on either account. There’s no other injury and no sign of a struggle... He might’ve done it to himself. What’s the last thing you remember before finding him?”
-
"Uhh..." He closed his eyes and thought for a moment. "I...I killed...so many people." He opened his new blue eyes and shook his head, looking worried. "He was telling me something in the bar, but I'm not sure what."
-
“Hm... Alright...” Reagan takes a few steps back now, sighing heavily. “Since I don’t know what trauma happened here, it might not work. I dunno. I’ll try my best, but I can’t promise anything.”
-
"Y-You don't know if you can bring him back? Well, thank you. Thank you for even trying, Reagan." Bedlam sighed, gazing down at Grant.
-
“I would... I would come to terms that he might not be coming back. This type of necromancy... Haven’t tried people before. Though it is a for a good cause... Suppose we’ve made a new art. White necromancy.”
-
"Maybe I'll get Pan. How do I contact Death?" Bedlam went into deep thoughr, standing up and pacing.
-
“You should probably go, so u can get started. May want to inform everyone... Or wait for any relatives to show up at the gate. If you come back tomorrow, I might be able to let you talk to him.”
-
"Thank you so much, Reagan. I owe you big time." He patted her head before jogging out of the library.
End?

Yeah.
