Destiny 2 PVP is lacking something very basic and that is fun. I am not the greatest in the crucible and my kdr is woefully around a 1.2. Yet, PVP use to give me the opportunity to feel powerful and a few times a chance to be a hero. This new system of team shooting takes the fun out of the crucible. Often the only thing that determines a winner is what team managed to stay together the best. This weekend playing with the Prometheus Lens allowed me to seperate away from a team and know I had a chance of killing someone or even fighting back if I was caught alone. I played the most crucible this weekend that I ever play outside of Iron Banner since the launch of Destiny 2. They should either not patch this weapon or lower the time to kill so that unless you are playing a team mode you should be able to go and have fun a be a hero. I should have the opportunity be clutch again. I should have the chance and the ability to wipe a fire team if I can outmaneuver, dodge, hide, trick or outshoot them. Bring the fun back to Crucible! What do you folks think?

I do think balance is important in shooters, but even though the current system is functional, players aren’t that into it. I just don’t think D2 should’ve focused this heavily on a competitive play-style. I didn’t really play D1, but it just feels kind of strange when the PvE environment tries to make you feel OP and badass but the PvP makes you feel like you’re average. I still enjoy D2, but if every gun was powerful like the Prometheus Lens and there was more or an emphasis on solo players, I feel like more people would enjoy crucible.
