With the nuclear core intact and the wiring installed properly into the titan chassis, Ama's prototype dubbed Cypher was fully operational. She rented out a large big rig and gave the driver the cpordinence on where to meet her.
She was sitting inside of the ATP, with the heat blasting to counter out the winter air. She had on a jacket that seemed to have a heating system in it. Being part plant made this season simply annoying as the frost made her left eye temporarily go blind if it wasn't covered meaning it was back to covering it with the eye patch again. Still, it wasn't that she hated the winter itself. Just a few small aspects pertaining to her genetics.
When the large mech arrived and was powered on, there was something very odd about it when it was activated. The best way to describe the situation is that it looked as if it was growing dusty at an alarming rate. There was even a strange silvery flicker of things reflecting around it that looked like a small very light cloud of dust floating around the thing. Whatever she did, at face value, it did seem to have a very peculiar feature.
She was very public about the test calling it a "demo" of a sort.

A Warlock wandered around. She wore the Wings of Sacred Dawn. She had the shiniest robes anyone had ever seen. So new... The Dark-Drinker radiated void light on jer back as she looked to the giant mech. "Whoooa. That's a huge robot."
-
Lieutenant Colonel Marker there with a squadron of 8 Militia Rifleman. He sighed slightly at the sight of the titan before looking through the ATP window at Ama. "What exactly is that? Why is it... Dusty and all? It looks junkyard like..." Marker clearly had his reservations about the robot.
-
Ama pulled her seat back to avoid them seeing her rolling her eye before walking outside to meet them. "What are the chances someone brought a rocket launcher?" As she was walking out a faint yellow lighting seemed to turn on from her jacket. Likely it was the heating mechanism. She had one of her wrist breakingly high caliber handguns holstered on the off chance she would have to demonstrate her creation with her own weaponry.
-
"Everyone of these men have a rocket launcher or some sort of heavy weapon with them, Ama. They're required to have them to counter enemy Titans." Marker reported, one of the Rifleman drawing a mag launcher in response. " You want us to shoot the Titan?" the trooper asked, looking to Ama for direction.
-
"Empty your clip if you want" She stared at the launcher. Yeah it should work, she was never bad at the design and execution she thought.
-
The Rifleman did so, firing off all 8 of the shots from the grenade launcher at the titan. Two for the respective legs, two for the arms and four for the chest.
-
The dust cloud seemed to move with the shots like one big sentient storm. There was a slight glisten to the storm, almost like a swarm of glitter as they began clustering closely together. There was something strange about how he explosives acted too. Like they were being cradled and eaten by the storm. "Nanoed based shielding. I watched a few combat scenarios and noticed that the overshield technology only holds up for a few shots from the energy output required to block against impact. This, takes a different approach. Instead of using the energy to shield the titan I converted it to function as a sort of tesla style electric field to release a small but steady charge through the air. The nanoed AI simply seeks and captures any gunfire as long as the charge stays active."
-
"It's certainly an interesting idea. It seems like it could work well..." "How long does the charge last?" Marker asked, staring at the titan.
-
"In direct sunlight I'd say an hour and a half before solar recharging would be needed. Inside about an hour. The nanoed option is toggleable so someone with good reaction could theoretically last an entire battle if they only had the system online in confrontation and off whenever it's not." She produced a small device the size of a watch head from her pocket and twisted a dial on the top down. As she did so the titan had several small ports open up where the swarm seemed to rapidly enter until there was only the machine itself standing and finally looking much clearer than before.
-
"Most battles are over within two hours, so hopefully this new nano shield will prove useful." Marker nodded his head, eyeing the Rifleman. The man put away his grenade launcher and nodded, joining the ranks of his allies. Marker looked at Ama, crossing her arms over his chest. "If it doesn't last, that would be putting lives in danger. So I can see why you suggested we keep it to mining and factory work."
-
"I'd probably produce cheaper models for mining and factory work without the nanoed tech since they wouldn't see much combat. That and the power source is a bit overkill in that one." Ama looked back over at her machine, coming to a bit of a realization about her unusual take on a Titan. "While I would clear this one for combat, I'd recommend specialized training. I tried to keep a lot of the basic mechanics familiar such as walking, reaching and gripping but I know most of your machines tend to have an automated shield, where as this one is activated manually. As far was weaponry goes, I tried to keep it as open as possible to modification. Standard is a high caliber mini gun with a two hundred round ammo drum and a plenty of replacement drums though it can be programmed to use other weaponry instead. Ejections the same though, it seemed like a bad idea to change something everyone would already have been used to."
-
"There's one thing you have to know about the Frontier Militia. We thrive through adapting." Marker stated proudly, making Ama think be was standing taller than he had before. "You said you're calling it Cypher? Yes... I can see this being a Cypher. We'll take extra care of this titan when manufacturing it."
-
"Good, I'll send over the blueprints to it along with the encryption core for manufacturing. If they have any questions they know how to contact me."
-
"Now, you'll receive the second half of your payment. Since we gave you the first half up front. Once you're ready to start up, you can work on your next design. If you need anything else, let me know." Marker stated, giving a nod of the head at Ama.
-
"Yup, will do" She signaled the driver to bring her prototype back before opening the door to the ATP. Funny she thought, a prototype building a prototype. Though she didn't want to tap into living weapons. She was living proof of how that usually ends.
-
"If you need anything else, please don't hesitate to ask." Marker said warmly, turning away and walking off to a nearby Militia dropship.
End?

Right... I sent her off into the desert without any reason for anyone to be meeting up with her except a trucker... whops XD. Did a tiny edit that should fix that.
