Alex looked at her shiver, and her outfit and chuckled.
"You'd think that coming out here, one would wear more than... That... [i]bold[/i] choice of apparel. I'd be careful walking around the streets like that."
The man was curious about her speech, however. He certainly did have weapons on him, but never mentioned them in any way.

She mostly smiled. “Well, I will. Survived the whole thing with the fire monster thing a month or two back. And Thanksgiving. I’m sure I can live another day.” She says, looking at what was going on. “Singing in front of the door? What’s that for?” She asked.

"Fire mons-" Alex was cut off by her question, and with hands still in his pockets, he leaned away to look at the what the woman was talking about. With a curious glance, he offered an answer. "Christmas, birthday of out lord. You don't know how hard I looked for a church around here but, couldn't get one. So now- we're celebrating in a different way." He took one hand out of his coat to gesture to the singing men with mugs of beer. "See?"
