As he stopped, reality shifted around him until he found himself on a familiar bridge. Right infront of him was a bloody Alex on his knees, looking like he'd die any second.
"Y-You let me die....You could've stopped this..."
In reality, Bedlam cursed and rolled as three rounds dug into his side, drawing blood. For some reason thermal optics just gave random heat signatures.

Given that Zane's armor was made to withstand blunt force, his opponents assult did nothing but annoy him. Also given the distance between the two, the laser was impossible to dodge. The beam collided with his body, sending him back flying and shutting off his systems once again. He planted his blade into the ground which halted him, and he let out a heavy breath. "Son of a bitch....Forgot that he could do that. Gonna have to do this the hard way." He withdrew his blade from the ground along with his MP7 and began charging at his opponent.
-
"Hard way? That's no fun." Bedlam sprinted toward Zane, closing his eyes as he ran forward as if concentrating on something. Arcs of red electricity sparked across his body, his eyes having a faint glow.
-
Zane raised his eyebrow in confusion. Lightning wasn't red, and if it was actual lightning it would have triggered the explosive compound laced onto his opponents back. He raised his MP7 and fired, sending a 5 round burst of hollow point rounds at Bedlam.
-
Bedlam seemed to phase out of reality for a second before reappearing directly in front of Zane, Zane's sword just inches from his face.
-
Instead of attacking with his blade, he chose to leap over bedlam and fire at his back. If the bullets landed, it would not only tear into his body but trigger the explosive compound that was laced into his opponents wound.

Edited by Stitch: 12/18/2017 5:07:55 AMUpon seeing Zane attempt jumping over him, Bedlam formed a red hard light barrier directly above Zane, waiting for him to crash into it. "Really?"
-
The bullets bounced off the barrier, and so did Zane. He rolled into the floor, raising his Gunblade as he chuckled. "What, it was worth a shot."
-
"Eh, I guess." Bedlam turned to face Zane again, arms in front of him in the shape of an 'x' over his chest. "This has been going on for a while now..."
-
Zane put away his MP7, replacing it with his buster sword. His two blades hovered just off the ground as he kept his grip lose. "Indeed, we should probably wrap this up. Don't want either of us to move on from a disqualification."
-
"Nah, that'd be boring. If I lose I want to be stabbed or shot or something, not judged out." Bedlam began walking towards Zane, arms staying in their position.
-
well okay if I say so babe
-
Zane flipped his blades as he walked forward, his blades humming softly as they seemed to cut through the very air itself. "Indeed. If I lose, I want to be because my opponent outplayed me."
-
"Me too..." Bedlam just kept walking toward Zane, getting as close as Zane would let him before attacking.
-
Zane continued to twirl his blades, the humming getting louder and louder with each swing. "Well then, let's end this. You were a fine opponent, and you have earned my respect. May the best man win." He raises his twin blades and pointed them at Bedlam, as if he was saluting him with the Warriors way.
-
"This was fun. We should do this again sometime." Bedlam gave a little bow in response to Zane's gesture.
-
"Oh for sure, I think my kids would enjoy sparring with you. Take a load off of my back huh?" He spun his blades one last time before gripping them tightly. It appeared that he was ready to end this.
-
Bedlam sighed. "You know I'm not stalling or anything, right? Are you trying to stall or something? I feel like this is taking way too long."
-
"Eh you know how the final battle in a video game goes. The two clashing warriors banter on for a bit before running at each other screaming their lungs out."
-
"I feel like they usually do banter a bit back and forth, yeah....Alright, so how mad do you think the judges will be at us wasting all this time?""
-
"Shit, they might just DQ us both....We really should stop talking and end this before they feed us to the Sharks."
-
"You think they'd feed us to the sharks? Huh. Doesn't sound like too much fun." More red electricity crackled around Bedlam's arms.
-
"Indeed." Zane suddenly aimed his Gunblade at Bedlam, firing off two quick hollow point rounds.
-
Bedlam suddenly did another faze out of reality. Surprisingly, he appeared right on top of the gun blade, the sword was now stuck through his midsection as he immediatley formed a knife in each hand while bringing his crossed arms together. The knives were aimed at Zane's neck and Bedlam was only inches away from Zane's face, giving very little time to react.
-
Given that bedlam had pierced himself into the gunblade, he unknowingly coated himself with the explosive compound that resided under the blade. As Bedlams arms were coming down he pulled the trigger, a .357 hollow point round going clean through his opponents back and triggering the explosive compound in both his midsection and back. This action cause the two fighters to be sent flying in opposite directions, Zane gunblade ripping clean out of his opponent
-
With the trigger pull, Bedlam had enough time to swing with his knives, cleaving through Zane's neck before being blown back. With large parts of his body missing and a hole through his midsection, Bedlam coughed up blood and laid motionless for a moment.
