The strongest person that Oliver knew, now rendered into this.
It was awful to watch.
Sarah would hear the familiar clatter of lightly plated steel and bits of tightly adjusted iron upon the leather gambeson underneath, as the *shink* of a sword returning to it's leather sheath was heard, as Oliver's shadow was casted upon the woman. Yet the shadow was indistinguishable, at such a deathly hour of night.
"...my lady, should I.. return, at a better time."
From what he had mentioned, Oliver had been at war. Khalosh was won and retaken, yet he had returned to the Dojo, as if stationed back here in order to support the troops that were still present. His voice cracked a little, as he looked upon the broken soul before him.

"Go... away...." she croaked. She cleched a fistful of grass, "Leave me alone."
-
"...I'm not leaving you alone. Not like this." Oliver would state firmly, staring as Sarah ripped the grass from the earth. He didn't seem as timid, nor panicked, as before. He was.. stern, yet caring too.
-
"LEAVE!" She yelled, her eyes filled with fire as she turned to him,
-
"No. I'm not allowing you.. the one person that I can call a friend.. sob away with no help at all. Let me be there for you. Like.. how you were there for me." Oliver would meet her fiery eyes with his own, those light blue pupils like ice. Yet filled with a certain warmth, as well.

"I'm so, so, sorry," Lunar apologised. He put a supressor on the Warlock.
-
"Don't surpress her.. please." Oliver looked at the Ghost then, sighing. "I want to help her - no, I.. need to help her. I can't leave her like.. this."
-
"If you want to live, her abilities would have to be supressed," Lunar explained. She spat and cursed at her Ghost.
-
"...Unsuppress her." It was as if Oliver was accepting death. As if Oliver wanted to see if she would actually commit to the deed. Though there was more to it.
-
Lunar refused to remove it as the Warlock lunged at Oliver.
-
Oliver simply allowed himself to be tackled, but instead of meekly falling over, he would go to grab Sarah's hands, his expression almost desperate, for a chance to calm her. "Sarah, stop! Let me help you - just for once!"
-
She stepped back, sighing.
-
"...Alright. Alright.. Let's find a better place to chat. It's freezing out here.. I have a small.. apartment, one would call it."
-
"It's more of barracks, I guess?" She asked.
-
"It is armed as one, but it's not within our encampment in the Dojo. I doubt that you'd want to put up with the watchmen at this rate, they'r unbearable.."
-
"O-kay," she muttered.
-
When Oliver and Sarah would enter the young knight's apartment, Sarah would likely be surprised: for a rather small, yet comfortable place, it was outfitted for war. A rack for weapons lined the wall, with three additional swords - being a shortsword, a gladius, and a longsword - hanging from their hilts, a desk specifically for his signature sword left there for safekeeping in it's sheath, as he sat the sword down. His shield was hung on the wall, while daggers were filed within cabinets. "Can I.. get you something to drink? Or snack on? Anything?"
-
"Maybe some chocolate?" She requested. She sat down on the couch.
-
"Of course," Oliver nodded, as he then mixed some hot chocolate for her. "I've gotten better at.. modern things, I suppose. Coffee specifically."
-
"I'm not to big on coffee. I don't like coffee."
-
"Mm. It just gets me up in the morning." Oliver said, breaking off pieces of chocolate for Sarah.
-
She took a few pieces. She really spoke up, "I found what was missing. But... they're gone."
-
"...Your father told me a little. About what happened. ...You should remember him. For the man he was. But you have to move on eventually. Remember his good qualities - and apply those qualities to other good men that you meet, that you'd be interested in." Oliver sighed a little, at that.

Edited by Splashback77: 12/16/2017 2:17:09 AM"I've... I'm trying... it's kind of hard, Oliver, not many are like him." She took a sip of the hot chocolate, "Not many are as kind or charming as he was."
-
"If you need to.. take a break from relationships. Give it time. Maybe someone will.. come around, eventually." Oliver sipped at the cup of hot chocolate that he had for himself.
-
"Right... I have a lot going on..." she admitted.
