“I understand...you don’t have to.” Doctor Malcolm would say. Alpha would see his eyes welling up upon hearing her tale as he jotted something down in his note pad again.
Was he....for real?
“How have you been dealing with this experience, Alpha? A common answer to something like sexual assault is cowardice, but you announce it to your peers with near confidence.”

She laughed "I don't think I can't. Not after the endless shit I've been through."
-
“I see, so you have not sought further solutions for this trauma outside of this show? No substance abuse? Self harm?”
-
"Self harm? That's an easy way out." She avoided the substance abuse "There aren't any solutions. Just patch jobs."
-
“Ah, That is where you are mistaken my girl.” Malcolm said after he sipped his glass of water. “See, there is help. That help, is us. Your peers. Those around you who you may think are hostile, can actually be your friends.”
-
At 'my girl' it was obvious he had hit something rather.....odious. "Don't call me that." She snapped "It's not my fault I don't trust my 'peers' when they're the ones advocating for my hunting and torture elsewhere! Outside of this goddamn millennial safe space is an ugly world where you're on your own."
-
“No.” Malcolm would then say. He said it with a certain forcefulness, while remaining gentle in his composure. “The world is only lonely, if you make it that way for yourself.”
-
She laughed, a discordant, grating, and...desperate, laugh. "Feelings don't -blam!-ing matter. They don't. When the goddamn dojoite is gunning you down for the hell of it, is my perception of the world gonna matter? hmm?"
-
“No, but what happens after will. The world is not a constant battle, it’s not an everlasting war. There is the calm as well, where we can discover ourselves, as well as those around us. And those people who will grow to support you will be the foundation you stand on, and if it’s true, you will never fall.”
-
"Life is a war without end. Everyone who denies it is a Quisling working for Death." She said with a rather tired and defeated tone
-
“If that’s the case, then it’s your job to win The war.” The doctor said in a surprising answer. “Win the war, and bring peace.”
-
"I wish. It's a war without end Seems pretty self-explanatory to me."
-
“um....right....” the therapist said as he scratched the top of his head. “Well, I think as long as you continue to seek out help, that may not be the case. Anyways....thank you for your time Alpha. We’ll be moving on to our next quest....”
To be continued! In episode 2!!! Huzzah!
