He whistled. A little coonhound pup came running.
The redbone coonhound jumped into Mason's lap.
"Yeah... everytime you say the word lonely I'm just gonna call one of my pups over. Anyway, I'm Mason Grey! Who are you?"

“Jamie Grant. Daughter of the resident Ranger captain of the NCR. Well, I was. My dad’s dead now. Sucks, but I can’t feel sadness and such, so it didn’t hit me too hard. Guess there are some upsides to being shot in the head after all.”
-
"WHAT?!" Mason picked up Jamie, "YOU CAN'T FEEL SADNESS!"
-
Jamie just looked surprised more than anything. “Yep. Now put me down before I tear you in half with a shotgun.”
-
Mason set them down.
-
“Thank you. Now, why did that seemingly freak you out so bad?”
-
"You don't show any emotion abiut your father's death?" Mason asked.
-
“Well I can pretend to have it, but half of my frontal lobe is blown out so I can’t actually feel it.”
-
"Ooooh."
-
“Yeah. Anyways, where’d you get the dog?”
-
"I met a lady. She gave me a box of puppies and kittens."
-
“Oh. That’s cool. You know who she is or ever meet her after?”
-
"Never saw her again."
-
“Did you ever try to look for her again at all?”
-
"No."
-
“Well, that’s just kinda shitty, actually. Might wanna try and find her again sometime.”
-
"The thing is, I don't rememner who it was that gave it to me. I may only look 48, but I'm much older."
-
“My dad is almost sixty and a normal dude and he was able to remember stuff like that. No excuse.”
-
"I'm 185, you little brat. I may a guardian, but I'm known as the Clumsy Titan for a reason."
-
“If you call me a brat again I’ll make sure you don’t live long enough for someone to call you that ever again.”
-
"Fiiiiiiine," Mason said.
-
“God, you’re really boring, aren’t you? Can see why you have nobody around besides your animals.”
-
"Hey! I'm not the bad. I'm Titan Dad!"
-
“That’s the worst thing I’ve ever heard. And yes, you are that bad, or you’d probably have some more friends.”
-
Mason seemed disappointed, "I guess I'll go talk to my daughters."
-
“Or you could go out and try to make some friends instead of just talking to family.”
