Personally I don't think it was intentional. All the other boons work fine. But 3oc must decrease the rate of exotic drops somehow. And after the xp throttling incident, I don't think they think they can get any shady practices past us again. Trials of the lasertag was intentional though, to bring some fun back.

Doesn’t matter if it was intended or not. The fact that a Triple A dev team can continuously make mistake after mistake with a sequel is beyond acceptable. If this dev team brought this quality of work to another field of work they would be fired promptly. Then replaced with a group of people that stop making excuses and gets the job done.

Bungie caught again. Simply implementing a broken mechanic so we can all spend the legendary shards we've been hoarding and subsequently be forced to play (grind) more. Getting sick of these devious little ploys and don't say it's an accident it's broken.

That's called market manipulation. They're trying to drain the economy of glimmer, shards and dust so they can "introduce" new features or "fix" what they obviously knew was broke. I say this after we've experienced the xp throttle and Prometheus Lens incident. Nothing they do surprises me now.
