For The King Chapter One - The King of Lions Trayve, 1:15 PM
Open for Pants and Splash, and whoever else wants in on For The King!
Cain, Lilly, and David had arrived into the kingdom of Trayve at last. The lands of Trayve were hilly and filled with trees, much like Ollimand, except the closer that they drew towards the capitol, the more industrious and populated that the land seemed. Until finally, the three would see the city, in the distance: Trayve was a beautifully large city, with glistening golden caps to it's distant towers and shadowing walls covering the green lands underneath. Though that was only from a distance. Soon, they would arrive.

  • David was treading on foot. He had painted his armor white with a gold trim. His armor was grass-stained from walking on the side of the road. He really wanted to use his Sparrow. "Amethyst, can't you steal the sparrow link from somewhere and bring it here?" He asked. His Ghost, Amethyst sighed, "No, I can't. I don't have one."

  • Theme of Trayve - The King's Arrival As the Titan and his Ghost finally arrived, the looming, yet brilliant shadows of the magnificent walls loomed over their figured, as a pair of fortified gates would slide open for their caravan of accompanying individuals, alongside the two twins that accompanied David, to enter what appeared to have been a main street, of which traversed throughout the center of Trayve and split off into separate sections. Towers, colossal buildings, structures, armories.. the place looked as if it was a renewed Rome, if anything all. Soon, David would find himself approached by a young woman, adorned in a golden and white uniform similar to his own. She was shorter, much so, as she had to look up at him as she spoke. "Sir David, yes?"

  • Sir David. He silently cursed. His name was the name of a leader. A king. A nobleman. A man of great significance who had risen from poverty with strength. The title of Sir fit like a glove. Despite this, he nodded, "Yes ma'am." He took his stride, "Where am I to go?"

  • "...For a time, wherever you see fit. The king would like an audience with you later, though. And.. if you wouldn't mind," The woman cleared her throat, brushing brunette hair out of her eyes before offering a hand to David. "Camela. Most call me Cam. One of the king's Lionknights - his most sworn protectors."

  • "Most sworn protector? Well, it makes since why you would greet me here," David pondered, "Anyway, Camella, can you show me the way to the Archives of this fine city. I do believe I must learn its history before I understand what is happening right here and now."

  • "Of course, unless you want a quick history lesson. A.. erm, TL;DR, perhaps? Something of that sort?" It wasn't as if Camela intended on keeping David away from the libraries and archives of the city, though from the way that she made it sound, there didn't seen to be too many years under Trayve's belt.

  • "I would like a rather unbiased time of study, Camella," David told her.

  • "Yes, and I'm the only knight that doesn't suсk off Armillion, because I.." The knightess snapped back in a hushed tone before stopping herself, before sighing. "Forgive me, for my brashness. Come, the archives are.. this way."

  • The knightess would bring David to a towering archive, whereas she would hold open the door for him. The archive was filled to the brim with tales of history, towering shelves already casted down upon David.

  • The History of Trayve From what David had learned.. Trayve was a nation that was began roughly a hundred years ago, though founded by the small-time house of Trayven. The nation only grew might underneath the youngest of the sons of Erandor Trayven - Armillion, the King of Lions. Armillion, in order to establish control and bring up his house, would traverse into the art of warfare. In his lifetime, he would wage three major wars - the War of the Dragon, the Conquering of Rivelria, and the Lion's Demise. According to the book, the Trayvens committed horrible acts upon their victims in the Lion's Demise, a war against their tragic rivals, of which are unnamed except for one - Zyrians, a nation across the world. The acts appeared to be caused out of anger for the torture and murder of Armillion's current wife at the time, Amelia, and the kidnappings and terrible abuse of two Trayven priestesses. In the end, the book showed a painted picture of the Trayven children. First was a taller, young man, like a famous statue, clad in steel plate and purple cloth. He wielded a longsword in hand, etchings of darkened corruption upon the blade of the weapon. Aside his picture was a golden lion. This was Arthur Trayven, the only legitimate child of Armillion. Second was a beauty of a woman, yet towered over Arthur, her bountiful frame accompanied by thick armor plates and muscle. Deep purple hair fell from her head, as she balanced what appeared to have been a large battleaxe. Aside her head was a red dragon. This was Isabella of Khaom, a slave turned the temporal Empress of Khaom at seventeen, before she left at an offer from Armillion. The third in line consisted of two individuals, nearly identical to each other. One a male, and the other a female, both young and the same height. They bore similarities to Arthur, except with shining blue eyes and silver hair. These two were Oliver and Niki Gold - bаstard children. The fourth showed a woman that was barely younger than Oliver and Niki, with flaming head hair, her being clad in purple uniform and gilded steel plating. She had held a scroll in hand for the picture, her light orange eyes painted into a terrible, emotionless demeanor. A yellow eagle was painted to her side. This was Freya Malpher, the oldest child of the corrupted rulers of Rivelria, and traitor to their cause as she served Trayve. The final child was a young boy, perhaps only seventeen, wrapped in a purple robing and shorter than the rest. His hair was an ashy blonde color, his eyes a magenta purple, while he seemed frail and skinny yet. There was only a white circle next to his head. This was Julian of Zyria, the child of an unspoken, terrible name.

  • David especially looked closely at Oliver in the picture. Clearly, he was standing next to his twin sister. "Shit," he muttered. He had known something, and realized that the situation had gotten worse.

  •
ohno.jpg
"Something wrong?" The knightess had looked over, approaching David for a moment. She sounded genuinely concerned, yet shot a glance at the family picture.

  • "...Yep. Something's wrong." The knightess groaned, crossing her arms as she would look at David in a seemingly confused manner. "Can you please tell me what's going on, because if it threatens the king, or his children, or one close to the children.. it is my duty to defend them. With my life."

"One question, does the king have any grandchildren?" David asked.

  • "Grandchildren? No. Arthur is yet to have a betrothed lady, due to his disappearance.. Isabella, for all I know, cares little for genuine love. Oliver and Niki, I doubt would ever have children. Freya is romanced to a young woman, and Julian remains here, waiting for a princess I believe. ...why do you ask?"

  • "...Do not bring up this matter to Armillion." There was a certain seriousness in Camela's tone, as she sighed, shaking her head. Something was wrong with a bаstard having a child, it seemed. "Stop while we can. We don't need spies torturing both of us for information about this.. occurrence."

  • That book seemed to cover Trayve's finances - gold and weapons, it seemed. "Mm. We can chat for a while, I suppose. I've yet to have.. lunch, I believe you would call it. Then we may visit the palace."
