"Alright. It's good to talk to you. Also... why is what I told you exactly a bad thing."

Edited by Weeaboo Of War: 12/21/2017 5:49:48 AM"Bаstard children.. are not necessarily the most respected children. Thus children are.. not expected from them." The knightess in gilded armor would then sigh, as she would lead David out of the library.
-
"So what it's not expected. Why is this so? Don't all of us desreve the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness?" David asked.
-
"...Look, it's more complicated than that. A bаstard child already looks bad for a king. Two looks even worse. And one now having a child.. it could spark war. David, this could be terrible. Armillion mustn't know about this." Camela seemed to almost beg David, a status unlike her seemingly subtle, yet straightforward demeanor. It was as if it could be very, very bad, if Armillion learned of his bаstard's child, or children.
-
He nodded. "I hope I never become a king," he admitted, "Or a leader."
-
"...You have the qualities of a leader." Camella had seemingly blurted out, looking at David then. "You care for the history behind things. The true history behind something. You seem to respect one's background and freedoms, too."
-
"I do... But that's how I am. I always inquire to question."
-
"Respectable enough, sir. Carry on with whatever you wish. Then, we shall depart for the palace."
-
"We can head to the palace, then. I will admit. I'm nervous. This is the first time I've been in the same room as a monarch or political leader that wasn't trying to kill me."
-
Camela would then shoot a slightly worried glance to David, as she had begun to lead him down the sidewalk. They would be heading upwards, towards the shadowing palace overhead. "You would openly admit that to a guard of a king. Unfortunately for you, I am a dedicated subject to His Righteous One.. ...but I suppose I could let that information pass unnoticed and unspoken."
-
"Yeah... I will act civil. I'm just nervous. Okay. Like, what if he tried to kill me, too. Or monolog, then kill me. Yeah... the last politician I met was a leader of a legion of space turtles that captured the last safe city on Earth and the thing most humans in that timeline consider holy."
-
"What.." Camela seemed rather confused about the events of Destiny 2, to say the very least. "...No. I do not take my king for a man whom would monologue, before having you executed for.. whatever reason he would see fit."

Edited by Splashback77: 5/12/2018 5:29:43 AM"Well, I can't die easily. So if I piss off Armillion, he'll have fun trying to get rid of me."
-
"If you anger him, then I.." Camela would bring her gaze to David then, before sighing and shaking her head as they carried onwards. She didn't feel comfortable, about admitting that she would have to attack David if ordered. They were approaching the palace steps, when Camela blurted out. "So about these space turtles.."
-
"Main troops are 800 pounds, highly miltarized, lots of guns that hurt, and have done a shit load of blowing up stars and solar systems."
-
"...I could take a few in melee." Camela would mutter, as the two of them would reach the top of the stairs, the massive palace before them. "Here we are. I hope that you are ready?"
-
"I am ready, I promise."
-
At that, Camela nodded, as she entered the courtroom, leading David within.
King Armillion Theme - Baratheon Standard
The throne room was massive in design, the long hallway brightly lit by the windows that would cast the sunlight's rays upon the inhabitants, of which had parted to reveal a pathway for Camela and David to approach the mighty, golden throne ahead. The Lionknight nodded towards David one last time, as they approached the King of Lions. Armillion was a mighty man, even if he was old. He was towering, at seven feet tall, his bulk still retaining throughout the years: he looked like he could crush one's head if he wished to. His great grey mane of a beard flickered with remnants of golden blonde, deep blue eyes staring the approaching duo, as loyal Camela would stop and kneel before speaking. "My King. This young man, good in heart, is David: representative of the Dojo, an good defender of this alternate world." "He may approach." The robed king would say, nodding towards David's figure.
-
Edited by Splashback77: 1/1/2018 2:52:42 AMDavid approached, he only stood at about 6 feet tall, looked to be in his early twenties. Not a scar on his face, nor wrinkle. His armor which was shaded to a white trimmed with gold gleamed. His dark brown hair was combed over for this meeting, his eyes a greyish-blue like a stormcloud, but today, they were more blue. "Hello, Armillion," David adressed. By his tone of voice, he was very serious, his eyes stared over the king. He stood still, refusing to bow.
-
The king would let out something of a deep chuckle, at the sight of David not bowing. He would lean up from his seat, those deep, aging eyes studying the Titan. "You already remind me of my younger self. Stern. Strong. Bit of a rebel to the more formal ways. I like it. Camela." Armillion beckoned the knightess forwards, as she would take one final look at David, before approaching the king and turning around, in guard of him. Her gilded armor shined in the light, as three more armored men and women came into guard of Armillion: the Lionknights.

Edited by Splashback77: 1/1/2018 2:54:08 AMDavid seemed different. He looked to the old king of Trayve. Something was unsettling about him. Something told Armillion that he was more than an ambassador. He had his own purpose for coming to Trayve. His own reason. The Titan did not remain silent: "Beidh an rí éagórach ag titim. Má luíonn rí lena mhuintir, braitheann sé iad. Is féidir liom a bheith mar ambasadóir ar an Dojo, ach is mise ambasadóir na ndaoine. Gheobhaidh mé an fhírinne, cuirfidh sé na daoine ar an eolas agus ardóidh siad leo. Ní rachaidh mé ar aon rí ná polaiteoir. Is é mo mhuintir ná na daoine, a gcearta, a saoirsí, a gcosaint, agus taispeánfaidh mé dóibh conas dul i ngleic más gá dom." The words were spoken in the tongue of the Earth country Ireland. If one were to understand the words he spoke, they would be impressed with his courage. David would speak again, "I may be an ambassador, but, I must warn you: I can be much, much, more. I bow to no one. I stand with the people."
Translation: The unjust king will fall. If a king lies to his people, he has betrayed them. I may have been sent as an ambassador of the Dojo, but I am the ambassador of the people. I will find the truth, inform the people, and rise with them. I bow to no king or politician. My devotion is to the people, their rights, their freedoms, their protection, and I will show them how to fight if I need to.
-
Armillion would grin, at that, before clapping his hands together. A few of the members of the court did as well. For a split second, Camela smiled a little, though she would return to being emotionless and silent. "Well spoken. My daughter, Freya - godspeed her recovery - would appreciate you if she was still awake. Even as she spares you of a lion's dominance, and pursues alliances instead of conquering. What are your terms to an alliance, Dojo warrior? Or would you hear my own?"
-
"The Dojo gets invaded.... often. Backup when their forces can't fight it off easily, that's one thing that could be set in stone," David listed.
-
"Very well. But this backup needs a leader. Would anyone wish to volunteer? Anyone?" The throne room was silent, before a woman spoke up. "My King." "Ah, Camela." Armillion nodded towards his Lionknight. "Yet you are sworn to oath, to protect and serve the king." "And in times of need, when leadership is due.. can that oath be expelled, as shown by other Lionknights in the past?" Armillion sighed, then. "Very well."
-
"We appreciate your effort," David nodded, "So far."
-
"Anything else, then?" The titan of a king would then mutter, leaning forwards to face David.
