Zane just looked at the man, staring for a few seconds before chuckling as he clasped his brother in law's hand.
"You're a bastard, you know that?"

-
"No kidding. You buy from Aunt Edna as well?"
-
The man would let out a long and tired sigh, adjusting some of the pants with a fatigued expression. “Smart ass. So what brings you to my shop...?”
-
"Well to be honest, I saw the sign and it reminded me of a friend's shop. He sold magical pants as well, had some damn powerful ones too." Zane remembered when he first came across Falks shop. It was the grand opening, and frankly he thought it was weird the way his friend was obsessed with them.
-
“The one at the dojo...I presume...” the old man guessed correctly.
-
"Yup, did you know him?"
-
“He almost killed me.” The elder replied bluntly. He seemed incredibly angry now, as if Zane ruined his day completely.
-
"Huh, mind explaining how that almost happened then?" Zane had a hard time believing that his friend had almost killed this man, there had to be a good reason.

The case where Falk had discovered the power of majora and how the pants clan sought to control it. Falk had to fight his way out, using the pants. The man just gridded his teeth in reply as he walked towards his counter, away from Zane.

He let pit a sigh of his own, following the shop owner. "Look, I'm sorry but what happened in the past happened in the past. Life's too short to hang onto grudges. Besides....He's passed away."
-
“Does it look like I’m holding a grudge? Ehhhh?” The elder asked as he went behind his counter and began fiddling around. “Couldn’t give a shit about that twat! Don’t matter if he’s dead or not...”
-
"Well he is actually, he gave his life to stop Tywin. Not that you would know but he's a god damn hero. He was one of my best friends too, so show some god damn respect." He didn't know this man, but he wasn't gonna let him disrespect his friend.

The people in the shop looked awkwardly at Zane and the shop keep, a few even left shortly after Zane bellowed out. The elder would then finally turn to Zane, which allowed the shaggy haired warrior to see the figures face. His upper neck, and lower cheek, was intensely scarred. While his face was old the scarring was brutal and made his face difficult to look at. The man would let out a breath of annoyance and dismissiveness, seemingly tired of the conversation. “You Gunna yell at me all day or are you Gunna buy something?” He would then ask.
-
"I dont know, you got any pants that allow the user to use elemental magic?"
-
The tension seemed to cease then, and the elder seemed a little more focused now that they were talking business. Zane would also figure this man was called Mr.Ralphie, due to the shop name. “None are a jack of all trades.” Ralphie would tell Zane. “Some allow the user to use fire, others allow the manipulation of water, there are some relevant to electricity and etcetera etcetera. However these sort of pants require registration, after all we wouldn’t grant a child the ability to throw fire balls around!”
-
"Naturally. Well I use to be a spell slinger but I had to give up my magic. Fighting without spells can be pretty difficult, plus I've began to miss controlling the elements. What do you have that could help?"
-
The old man pulled a large ledger out from under the counter, and licked his index finger before starting to flip the pages. He pointed things out as he went through the massive ledger. “Mmm. Here’s one that grants the ability to call on lightning, however it would have to be during a storm. Another here allows the user to cast a fire ball, but it would only work in temperatures where a fire could easily form...Ah there’s one here that lets someone use ice, but it would only work in a place such as the Ko-Rudo mountains.” Ralphi would tell Zane. All the pants he mentioned seemed rather...dull.

Edited by Zane the 3rd: 12/24/2017 6:03:07 PM"Hmm, unfortunately none of those would be able to aid me in the midst of battle. Instead, what are the most powerful pants you have?"
-
“There were only two pairs that could be considered the most powerful...and you destroyed them both I believe...” the man would say bitterly. “No...none are the best. My prices are based off rarity of the type. See no pair of pants is the same, rather they belong to a branch. For example I have many pants of holding, but none of them hold the exact same amount. Hmmmm...however I think I may have a pair best suited to what you are looking for....”
-
"Really then? May I see them then? What is it that they do if I may ask?"
-
The elder would open up the pathway behind his desk, and waved Zane over to behind the counter where Ralphie walked down the aisle of pants.
-
He followed behind the shop owner, looking over the different types of pants.
-
Edited by Inflatablepants: 12/24/2017 7:23:30 PMThe man would suddenly stop as the two approached a glass case. In it were three different pairs. The elder pointed at the pair in the middle. It was a pair of black pants, with red glowing swirls that moved around it. “These here could be what you are looking for. Everyone has magic within them, really. It just takes years of patience and practice to unlock it. These pants act as a key, a shortcut to bypass the time required to meditate and release ones potential. You would still need to practice different spells of course, but this will accelerate the process...”
-
"Yes, That's exactly what I'm looking for. Now these other two pairs caught my eye is well, what do they do?"
-
“Those are reserved for a special client. Under the condition both remain....confidential.”
