Fabio would finally come to an end of a tunnel. A massive lock hid away the contents, while the two Tribune soldiers stopped and sighed. "This holds away the apocalypse. A fuсking locked door?" "Quiet. Rue'll go nuts if you talk about it." "So what? She's a bitсh. She can go fuсk off, or go f-" "Quiet. Did you hear that?" Footsteps had begun to approach the room, as a party of Khaomite troops met the two Tribune soldiers. Without a word, but a single point from a sword, the captain of the troops approached, his men following as the Tribune troops yelled out in terror. Seconds later, and Fabio was graced with the torture and slaughter of two Tribune soldiers, their entrails hanging from the corpses, their mouths serving as gruesome sheaths for their own swords - literally, not making a joke there. The Khaomites would soon leave the sight of the murders. Fabio could make a guess at who lead them here - Charla. Though whatever was hidden away, and how Charla knew, was up to debate.

Edited by Splashback77: 12/24/2017 2:46:17 AMThe Apocolypse? he wondered, I thought rat form was apocolypse. Well, it was for Europe. He followed the Khaomian soldiers, finding out what exactly this "Apocolypse" was. Was it a disease? (Well, Fabio would be safe because light means immunity to all diseases. +1 for being a guardian.) Was it a super weapon? (There was nothing he could do about that. -1) Was it a nuke? (Nothing he could do about that either. -1) Was it an army? (He could do something about that, but only for a certain amount of money. +0)

The Khaomites would meet up with Charla, the captain then stepping forwards to greet her. "Ma'am, we've taken care of the two Tribune. When they discover the scene.." "Then their negotiations will cease. Good work, Matthew - we'll hold this city in a few nights. I must tell you, though - the spy from Trayve, the one I met earlier? Cute fellow. He can shift into animals, too. I think you know what I want to do with him. He's comparable to the Apocalypse himself, and thus.." Charla was a double agent.
-
Fabio shifted back to human, "To be fair, I only took the job because I was bored out of my skull." His Iron Companion armor made him look like a knight wearing a wolfskin cloak. "And for the right price, I'll double agent."
-
"The right price? Charla smirked a little to herself, nodding at that. "Very well, very well. But why switch sides if you don't know what we fight for?"
-
"I am a mercenary. Trayvens payed me no price. I have no motivation. I'll spy. I'll double agent. What's your currency?" He asked.
-
"Gold that's worth more than your Glimmer and credits. A few more side things too, if you're interested in those. Weapons, armor, the usual - outside of a few pleasant surprises."
-
"Ten bricks of gold. Ninety magazines of golden ammunition. Eight golden knives. Seven prostitutes. Six bottles of vodka. Five brand new cloaks. Four parrots. Three unique weapons. Two sets of armor, and a patridge in a pear tree."
-
"...seven prostitutes, six bottles of vodka..." Good party, right there.
-
"I'll be waiting in the pear tree too, if you want. I like your style, though. Done. I'll have to arrange a heist on a Trayven caravan, take over a bullet factory and a smithy, and get myself a grown pear tree - just for you, darlin'." Charla smiled, holding out her hand for Fabio. A handshake to seal the deal.
-
He shook her hand, sealing the deal.
-
Charla would pull Fabio close, then, bringing her shoulder to his as she whispered. "You know, the dragons of Khaom breath the flames of the end.." She slid a dagger into his hand, then. Ut soared with a certain heat, as Charla would smile in a devilish manner. "Welcome home, sunshine."
-
His devilish grin was hid by his own helmet. "The life of a merc. So, who's giving out orders?"
-
"I am, really. Tomorrow, we'll be picking out these Tribune аsshats in the arena's crowd. Khaom's politics are rather simple: challenge someone into the arena, fight to the death. And you, my dear.. will be my champion, if that's fine with you." Charla would say, having already seduced Fabio with gifts and promises. Now, she seemed to ask for his service.. his life.
-
"I will be your champion. I can survive all the Tribune fighters."
-
"...That's good to hear. Very, very good to hear."
Fin? Gonna get that post up.
-
Yep
