Destiny is in Need of the Realm Reborn Treatment

Bungie, this game, no this franchise can't continue like this anymore. Its hanging by a thread and you keep poking the few remaining in the eye every time you have a CHANCE at fixing your mistakes. If you guys want any chance of Destiny truly becoming a legendary franchise... its time to do the Realm Reborn path. For those that don't know this isn't the first game that has failed and nearly destroyed a franchise single handily before. Final Fantasy and Square Enix is another developer/franchise you all know. There was a time where Square failed epically with a release... it was called FFXIV. It was such a failure it put Square in the red and nearly made them go bankrupt. However, they did the one thing that not only saved the company, but also regained a large portion of their audience. It was a Realm Reborn and Yoshi-P getting the go ahead to take over development of the game. FFXIV ran for about a year trying to fix itself while giving all updates free to those that decided to stick around. It became apparent that the game however was not salvageable so Yoshi-P made the call to kill the game, but from the fire came a phoenix. FFXIV was remade with a team that LISTENED to the community above all else and created a game that surged from nearly killing Square, to becoming right now the #2 MMO currently played on PC and PS4. Bungie needs to learn from the past, not just say "we are listening" but actually DO something. Removing Eververse is just the start. They have proven they need to cancel the 2nd expansion and focus on FIXING the game first understand that we wanted to BUILD upon Destiny 1 at the end of D1, not regress even further. Skill trees need to expand IMMENSILY. Story telling needs to improve by FAR. Rewards and progression needs to be a steady pace but not speed up too fast. Raids not only need to be rewarding, but ACTUALLY HARD. NOT CHEAP, HARD, CHALLENGING. The current raids in D2 are not hard, they are just frustrating with how glitchy they are and soulless the encounters are. The only encouter that is praiseworthy is the Eater of Worlds final boss... but prestige mode needs to actually EXPAND the encounters. The boss needs to be more active during fights, expand the fights from normal mode into almost entirely new encounters. These are only a few reasons why Destiny 2 requires Bungie's entire focus on the game to change. There will be no Destiny 3 with any good sales or community if you don't fix Destiny 2 into what it was supposed to be.
