It's an asinine grind already to just get enough masterwork cores to turn a weapon into a masterwork you already have. It's even more asinine to only give you 1 - 3 cores from a dismantling a masterwork weapon when creating it costs 10.
Now Bun-effin-gie makes us grind even more to get cores to reroll guns, and get more cores to reroll them again, and again, and again, until finally and with a lot of luck you get the roll you want. I spent 15 masterwork cores until I just had faster reload on my Better Devils. HOLY EFFIN HELL, I hate you for this, Bungie!
So Bungie, remove the masterwork reroll mechanic, and add all available masterwork perks as extra perk column you can chose a perk from just as it is already done for the regular gun perks.
And stop the f* giving something to the Destiny 2 community with one hand and then turning around and taking it away with the other!

Totally agree. The perks are pretty lackluster as well

Edited by GraciousEel761: 12/26/2017 11:10:25 PMThere's some options for this Masterwork rework system: 1) Allow people to select which mod they want, from a list. 2) Make Re-rolls less expensive, maybe just Legendary Shards, Glimmer or even free (gasp). Either one accomplishes the goal. Personally, I hate Re-rolls on weapons. Just like I hate RNG perks on weapons. However, I'm ok with the idea of RNG mods/perks, only if they can be replaced at will, like they would in a crafting system. I also dislike the random amount of Masterwork cores that can drop. 1-3 is insane in my opinion. Why not just a set amount? More unnecessary drama being added into the game. What purpose does this serve? As I always say, the game doesn't need more stuff to grind. It needs more new content. Grinding is bad, new content is good. Its real simple.

Or jus increase the drop rate for parts?
