"What a dullard. Your Ghost lacks ambition, and knowledge - Two things we Guardians deserve, and the universe owes us."

"Lecturing some Titans is starting to sound fun. But my knowledge is in art. But I do dabble, a bit. Much to Ganymede's rants," she replied.
-
"You either do it or you don't - The middle ground is pointless. If you're in for a step, you're in for a mile." Somebody who shared in his ambitions, albeit slightly, was now in his midst. Polaris waved his hand for the Guardian to follow him, and he turned his back to her and approached the back of the cavern; A large portion of the wall was covered by a banner, which appeared to be a Warlock emblem with Hive mist on the corners, slowly creeping in. He grabbed his Bad Juju from the table and looked to the symbol. "What do you see, Guardian?"
-
"I see mist. Probably a result of a Hive Incantation. It's far from what looks like the Warlocks' reach. But some are closer to it, symbolizing their ambition."
-
"You are correct. And what do we do when we have a goal?"
-
"We reach our goal. Then set another."
-
"Precisely. And what goals do you have in life?"
-
"To find my mother. Then, find the truth about everything."
-
"So you want answers? You must ask questions. If you wish to ask questions, you must be worthy enough. And to be worthy enough, you must be powerful enough. In that power, you will gain your knowledge."
-
"Right," she seemed to know this.
-
"And what would you do for that power? How far would you go, Guardian?"
-
"For answers... I would gain all power I could. I would give up my strength, my sleep, my sanity."
-
"Good. Now - I need you to want more power, because I have a source of it."
-
"You do?" She asked.
-
"Do you not believe me?"
-
"I believe you," she spoke.
-
"Right. What do you know of Hive legend?"
Just so you know I'm totally bullshitting all of this, and literally everything I make is coming from the top of my head. Expect some spontaneous bullshit so baffling, so completely daft that it's fun.
-
"Many things. The Osminum Heirs, and their ascesions. The Worms. The broken worlds. The Deep. The Deathsingers. The system of tribute."
-
And have you heard of the tale of the Crossed Kingswords?"
-
"There's only one Hive King, and he's dead. The heart of his sword is apart of my blade."
-
"You're wrong. Hive outcasts who didn't support Oryx were thrown out and made their own empire - One with two kings at the head, with interconnected swords. Their sword logic was almost to the strength as Oryx himself, but the two battled one another. Their armies fell and they razed their swords, fusing it into one. That sword is called Chaos Revelant, and I believe I know it. Think about it: One of us could have our own sword world, if we harness their logic."
-
"But when you think about it, aren't Ghosts not that different from it. Similar logic: You die and come back. Except portable, snarky, and some are more clever, unlike Mr. Melodramtic-Ranty."
-
"But can you drive a man through with a Ghost? Can you permanently end an enemy of the Light? We already know all we can about the Ghosts - We don't know anything about a Hive Sword, firsthand."
-
"All... that... power... all those answers."
-
"Exactly, the answers. Answers to questions asked long ago and far into the future. So, care to come get some answers with me?"
-
"Yes," she replied.
