The other bodies remained limp on the ground, unmoving. They didn’t even seem to stir. Whatever knocked them out didn’t aim to kill, Clearly.
As Zane looked around he saw a door ahead of him, at the other side of the room. It was large, bronze and not very welcoming.

He stepped over the bodies as he approached the door, placing a hand on the cool frame. He then pushed it, seeing if it would open.

It was actually a pull door, so Zane walked into it. ...kidding. He opened the door with ease, but it creaked! as the old hinges seemed to be rusted. As he peered through, he saw a lit hallway, similar to that of what he had seen at the beggining. In this hall there were more limp bodies, three to be exact. However there were small amounts of blood coming from their skulls and shoulders. Whoever was here seemed to use blunt force to knock them out, however all three men were still alive.

"This was recent...I can't be too far behind." He walked down the hall, his gunblade resting at his side.
-
As he did, he began to hear a voice. He couldn’t understand it just yet but as he moved closer to the door ahead of him he was able to make the words out. It sounded like two people, a man and a woman. “Like...really! How did we get ourselves into this?” The man said. “Well, I initially warmed you of traps when we came in.” The woman would respond with. “Okay, ya, sure. But you’d think that we would’ve been able to spot...THIS!” “I can play some music, if you’d like.” “May as well...seems like we’re Gunna be here until all these Hannibal lectors wake up.” Zane would then hear some music. It was...old fashioned, to say the least. From the era of the baby boom. Java Jive by the Ink Spots echoed down the halls as Zane was a few feet away from the door.
-
He raised his .44 as he moved against the door. He glanced inside, ready to burst inside if necessary.

Edited by Inflatablepants: 12/30/2017 12:01:20 AMSuddenly, the music cut out. “What? Dani what’s the-“ Suddenly the man interrupted himself it seemed, and went quiet. The room was dim, Zane could only see that much. He would have to enter if he wanted to look around it completely.
-
He backed away from the door, entering stealth as he put away his weapons. He'd wait a few seconds, just in case he was heard.
-
The other side of the door was quiet, not a peep was made.
-
Zane silently sighed, his footsteps were clearly heard. He remained in stealth as he walked quietly up the door, opening it from the very end.

Edited by Inflatablepants: 12/30/2017 12:01:08 AMAs he walked in, he would see that this room was large. The centre floor was rectangular In shape, being 100ft wide from where Zane stood and 80ft in length. There was a stair case on the right side of the room which lead up to a walkway. There were eight doors on this walkway, likely leading into different rooms and the like. In the centre there was a brazier, lit and flaming. There were two more in the room, one to the left of the lit one, and one to the right of it. Past the brazier was another set of double bronze doors. Oh, there was also the person hanging from the ceiling. It seemed that they were trapped by some net trap that entangled them into an awkward position, where their arms were in no place to be moved around. The man dangled ten feet in the air, and a rope was strung from the top of the net to the balcony and was locked in place by the mechanism there. The figure in the net was well armed. He had two fancy looking swords on his back, straps of magazines on his legs and chest, as well as what looked to be some kind of steel arm that coated his left arm. The net was twirling in the air, so that his face was away from Zane. Zane would then hear him whisper. “Dani...have they entered?” He asked. There wasn’t another woman in the room from what Zane saw, however. “I don’t know. I see as much as you do.” A woman suddenly spoke from the same source. “Be quiet...maybe you won’t get us killed.” “Well fine...be that way.”
-
Zane activated his thermal vision, moving silently around the room. His eyes scanning, looking for the woman.
-
He only picked up the one source now. The net span on the rope, slowly so that the man’s face was making its way towards the door where Zane stood.
-
He took out his dagger and threw it at the rope, then moved around the room.
-
The dagger cut through the rope, and the figure fell to the floor with a ”AH!” and landed on the ground. “Ah! Ahaha! My tailbone! AGHHHHHH.” He Yelled, grabbing his behind as he curled up on the floor. Suddenly the female voice came from...well...him. “I think whoever it is, is in the room.” “Ya...no kidding....”
-
Zane sighed silently, it appeared that this person had some kind of split personality. He decided to speak up, echoing his voice across the room to hide his position. "Alright, who the hell are you, and why are you here?"
-
Suddenly the man seemed to generate some form of arrow from his hand. It was bright and blue, and with its tip he cut through the net, freeing himself. He got to his feet, looking around which Allowed Zane to see the man’s full figure. He was likely 5’8”. Along with this he had Long brown hair, slicked back and lengthy on top. Brown eyes, proportional face that was smooth from cheek to jaw and curved down to his broad chin. His skin was tanned, but other than that he was clearly Caucasian. He wore a dark black colour palette for the most part. The man had a roguish look to him, clearly the design of being a mercenary. He had a grey shirt underneath a strap that contained a variety of knives. While his right arm is unburdened. Meanwhile his left seemed to have some form of exo attachment that consisted of a small shoulder pad while steel moved down his left arm and into a glove made of steel. The strap mentioned before moved down to the man’s belt, which in turn had straps that go down the man’s pants and to his boots. On these leg straps are magazines for his guns. He wore two dark black pistols on each side of his hips. On his back were two sheathed blades, identical in nature. They were longswords from what Zane saw and each had a rounded pommel. guards on these blades move up at and angle in the shape of lightning bolts. They looked...expensive. Around his neck was fur, likely from a fox but it’s been dyed to a pristine white. With the fur, a hood comes with it, black in its colour. He looked around the room, trying to get a sight on Zane. “It’s rude to hide during introductions, Y’know!” The man called out. As Zane looked at the man further, he realized... Well, this figure was barely a man. He looked to be 18.
-
"It's called being cautious. I dont know you at all, could be a raider for all I know. What's a kid like you doing here anyway?"
-
“Got a contract for this place.” The man would reply to the ceiling, putting his hood over his head. He was looking away from Zane at the time as he did so. “Some Guy is driving everyone here nuts with some illegal magic and what not. I’m here to deal with the problem.” He continued to explain. Then he looked in Zane’s direction. Zane saw that some form of light blue holographic visor had formed in front of the man’s brown eyes. The man smiled as he looked directly at Zane. “Well hello there!” The figure said, suddenly pointing an open left hand with his metal like arm towards Zane. Suddenly a laser of blue light shot out at Zane as fast as any laser pointer, with pinpoint accuracy. It seemed harmless though. “Ooooh. Nice suit!” A feminine voice suddenly spoke through Zane’s helmet, the same from before. “Is it custom? Ah, whatever. Hey, who’s this here? A V.I?” The voice would ask, seemingly knowing Alfred was present in Zane’s suit.
-
Oh....well that's quite rude, entering without permission. I'm afraid I must ask you to leave. Zane uncloaked seeing as he had been discovered, drawing his Buster sword and having it hang loosely at his side.
-
“Well, fine then. I didn’t want to talk to you anyways!” The woman said, her presence leaving Zane’s helm. The man chuckled as he put down his hood, looking to Zane. “Huh. She’s right, it is a good looking suit of armor!” The man complimented.
-
"Thanks, was a gift from a friend. I've had it for a while now, kept adding more modifications to boost it's effectiveness. Use to boost my aura till I lost it. You got some pretty impressive looking swords as well." Also apologies, I just feel uneasy when there's more then another AI. Nothing against you.
-
“Don’t mind Dani, she likes giving people a hard time.” The man said, drawing one of his blades. It was double aged, shiny and glimmering steel. It was a thin blade, but seemed to be incredibly well made. “And ya, it’s slick. Though I prefer not to use it whenever I can.” He told Zane, twirling his blade before sheathing it. “Anyways, care to introduce yourself? You get to go first after all you were the one who came in unannounced!”
-
"I'm Zane Nightingale. Would have came in announced but I was a tad concerned considering the guys I passed on the way here. Can't blame a guy for being cautious."
-
“Ya I can-“ suddenly the man stopped himself, blinking slowly at Zane. “Wait...Wait. Like, Zane? THE ZANE? Slayer of majora, cleanser of twilight, bane of Tywin and all that?”
-
"The one and only. Didn't realize I had so many titles. Where did your get the gear?"
