Soft footsteps would ring through the quiet winter air as Irina approached her fellow, the glistening icy pupils looking up at the shining iron helmet that he bore, studying each engraving and marking that swirled and contorted throughout it's base.[/i] [i]The past really had caught up to her, after all of this time.
