Mind if I tell you a quick story?” Without really waiting for a confirmation, Drake proceeded into his brief story. “Anyways, while the crew was still split up, and I’d just gotten out of Amoridia, I met a woman on Tatakai. Name’s Caroline Winters, and even though I didn’t know her for long... and I haven’t felt like that with a woman in a long time—not in a romantic way, y’know, but... whatever.” Drake cleated his throat and shook his head slightly, willing to change the topic. “Turns out that the faction she was running away from, these bastards called Frontier, they’d been hired by the NTR to capture me and turn me in, in addition to them wanting the bounty on her head. After a couple hours of fighting and running, we got captured, and imprisoned on this space station of their’s near Tatakai’s moon. I was tortured and held for a few hours, but I managed to escape... but I had to leave her there. To her, it probably would’ve seemed like I stabbed her in the back and ran. But I need to set things right with her. So that’s why I’m bringing the crew to Tatakai: so we can get payback... and so that I can maybe get a hook-up. Y’know what? We’ll see where it goes.”
