“Ya, it probably has to do with the fact that she has no legs.” Baker said, seemingly towards Dani.
“Hey!”
“What? You are LITERALLY perpetually salty. Like if I could harvest you I could hold a flipping monopoly in minerals.”
Zane saw that the door lead into a hallway.!

Edited by Zane the 3rd: 1/2/2018 11:26:31 PMIt was time to end this. He'd make sure that this crazed elder wouldn't hurt anyone again. He took aim once again, his fist crackling with power and he slammed down on the old man.
-
Zane’s fist collided with the side of the old man’s skull, instantly making him fall limp off the pedestal and onto the ground. Still, but breathing. “Well there you go!” Jon exclaimed, walking towards the pedestal. “How was he controlling these guys you think? All of em seem to have magic some how, I haven’t seen a group this big since...well, ever.”

Edited by Zane the 3rd: 1/3/2018 12:20:43 AM"They were being controlled by the pants. The old man somehow managed to take control over them all, but how is the next question."
-
“Well, The Pants are enchanted ya? And the guy didn’t try to control us? Maybe his pair somehow took control of everyone who was wearing em.”
-
"In order to do that, he'd half to have made his own pair. That means the machine must be nearby."
-
“Ya. So it’s just like a sewing machine probably right?” Baker asked, moving to tie the old man up. However, he grabbed one of his swords and cut through the fabric of the man’s pants, ruining them.
-
"That's what the shop keeper told me. Should be easy to spot." Zane began looking around, examining the room.
-
“Yo, Dani. Set the scanner for a sewing machine and start scanning the proximity.” Baker said as his visor began to glow a little more. Baker looked around, and looked towards a door at the corner of the room. “It’s past the door there.”
-
"Great work. You wanna come with or wait for me to be done? Still gotta pay off your broker for my mistake."
-
“Hmm? No I’m Gunna contain this guy, make sure he can’t get away. You go ahead and get your handy dandy machine.”
-
"Alrighty then. You ain't a bad fighter baker. I think my kids .ight enjoy sparring with you if you're ever in dojo territory."
-
“Well if I ever make my way out there, I’ll be sure to stop by.” Baker would say. “Anyways, kinda wanna get out of here before these guys wake up. They might not be under the guys control anymore but they’ll be hella pissed!”
-
"Good point, I'll go ahead and grab the machine." He walked over to where baker said the machine was located and entered the room.
-
Upon entry he entered a smaller hall, well lit and furnished. Ahead of him however stood a massive steel vault door, glowing with an odd purple energy. There was a large wheel to open the door, and on the wall lay a sleek black panel.
-
He walked over and turned the wheel, opening the door.
-
Instead he got an unwelcome surprise, as a force of telekinetic energy blasted forth from the vault and sent him crashing through the door back into the room Baker was in, splintering it into pieces. “...Guess it didn’t go well?” Baker said half jokingly.
-
"What gave it away? Damn door is covered in purple energy. Has to be magic of some kind."
-
“Well I’m sure you’ll be able to figure it out.” Baker told Zane, continuing to tie up the old man.
-
"Right" He got back up and went back into the room, this time going over and examining the slate.
-
As he looked over the black slate, he found that there was an indented shape within it. It looked like a sewing needle, really. Was it for some sort of key...?
-
"Yo Baker, you find a needle shaped key on that elder?"
-
“Huh? Oh, no. Well I didn’t check so gimme a second.” After a moment, Zane heard footsteps coming over to him. Baker briskly walked into the hall, raising his hand up with a sewing needle pinched between his fingers. “Like this Right?”
-
He took the key and nodded. "Yup, exactly what I needed." He walked back up there the slate and inserted the key.
-
As soon as he did, the panel jutted inward, and the magic barrier around the vault door diminished into nothing. “That’s pretty neat.” Baker commented.
-
"Indeed. Quite Interesting magic." He walked over and went to pull the lever, hoping the door would open.
