Chapter Two - The Wrath of the Lion
Closed.
Bells. Ringing, over and over and over.
It made Armillion's head throb. It made him tighten his fist, his old, rugged fingernails digging into grisly, strong palms. It made his face tie back into an angered scowl, like a lion baring his fangs in the face of a rival to his throne.
Only, this rival had took his son.
The Golden King left his mighty keep with the haste of a brewing storm, as his four - no, now rendered to three - golden knights would accompany his side. His cape fluttered in the brewing winds as he walked, down those high stairs and down to the city, where the common man and woman had begun to wait in their panic.
Their king stood upon a podium, resting his large fists upon it's marbled surface as the crowds of gossip fell silent. Though that King would not wait for such silence. No, he would release his rage, here and there.
"-My youngest son. Taken from his home, and captured by this hidden enemy, enclosed within the maws of evil.
My knightess, Camella. Taken from her duty and rendered to a hospital bed, poison swelling her heart and holding back her justice.
My youngest daughter. My eldest son. The men and women of Trayve. Your fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, and daughters - slain or taken by this Tribune!
Yet, even in darkness, we shall not falter. We shall grab this evil Tribune by the throat and strangle it, and for every death that they have caused, we will return it sevenfold! For every murder they have committed, we will unleash justice with more fury than they could imagine!
Today is a day of lions, not sheep! Today is a day of reckoning! Today is the day that we will show these filth what war truly is!"
Such fury was an unrelenting, terrifying thing.

Cain and Lilly soon found themselves upon a carriage, amongst a massive caravan of soldiers, with mighty ships following in the rivers beside them. They would have to travel continents, in order to reach their destination. Sparking conversation and understanding the situation at hand. Additionally, gathering info on the land would be beneficial.

David had an invitation.
Armillion had requested to meet the Titan again, only this time with Camella amongst them. He had quite literally asked the Titan to meet his partner, to investigate what had happened in the first place.
English
-
"Hyaenis..." David asked, handing the knife to the man, "Do you have any ideas on who this knife belongs to?"
-
"I do. Don't be shocked, however.. this is a religious blade. The type once used by old clerics and songstresses in self defense. That would point us to Latrans, but.." Hyaenis sighed. "That makes no sense. She wouldn't target Julian.. would she?"
-
"The possibilities in this situation are endless. Framing, replication of a weapon...." David noticed, "But there's only so many chances we have."
-
"Correct. Though.. I don't think that this is the result of framework. Armillion and Latrans are close. Too close. Where one goes, the other follows. If we can bait them out, let them know that we're after them and instigate them.. Armillion would confront us, we cannot beat his word. Latrans, though.. she is fearful, unlike him." Hyaenis sighed, worried.
-
"Of course..." David replied. The Titan wondered, "How are we to approach this? For one, we if we are to confront Latrans, we'll have to get her alone."
-
"There's always her church. But we need more than just this knife. If you could distract her.. I can go through her office. Shameful work, I know, but.." Hyaenis shrugged. "I'm willing to do anything, for the good of the people."
-
"Alright," David decided, "I happen to have a lot of siblings and half-siblings. I have 5 siblings, and let's see here...." He began to count on his fingers, "Phoebe, Emilia, Myles, Sage, Xavier, Beau, Kaleb... 7 half-siblings."
-
"...lot of siblings, huh? I have.. none. What do your siblings have to do with the current situation, though?" Hyaenis questioned, confused almost by David's counting.
-
"How do you think I'm going to distract Latrans?" David asked.
-
"...Oh. I see, I see. Say, you could use your.. partner, I suppose, as well. Not use, but.. Latrans should have visited Camella by now." Hyaenis mentioned:
-
"Camella is dealing with enough. She needs rest," David decided.
-
"Very well." At that, Hyaenis would sigh, though he would pocket his hands and nod towards David then. "Ready whenever you are."
-
"Yes... we must get on that right away... but... this has been sort of a rough start, okay. Rest... I need some rest," David spike.
-
"Rest granted. The palace is your home, for.. a time. I trust that lady Camella shall come to visit sometime this afternoon."
-
"She is?" David asked, "That's wonderful!"
-
"Wonderful indeed, though be wary!" Hyaenis stated, suddenly. "Your attackers may not be so.. well, simple, another time."
-
"That's rather.... haunting..." David replied.
-
"Paranoia inspires action. Good or bad actions, but action nonetheless. Go ahead and find a place to stay, for a time."
-
He nodded. David wandered through the palace.
-
The palace that belonged to the King of Lions was vast, large, and endless, while the royal rooms of the children, advisors, Lionknights, and the king, were locked away. There were a few visitor's rooms, though Julian's and Camella's rooms seemed to be "under investigation" at the time. David wouldn't be able to access them, for some odd reason..
-
He walked to a visitor's room. He opened, the door, seeing what was inside.
-
The room was, to be frank, quite simplistic for one to reside within, though comfortable yet. Some books, a window for the view beneath, a dresser and a decent bed, and a weapon rack.
-
He took off his armor, Amethyst having already stored his sword. He flopped onto the bed, wearing only a T-shirt and some boxers. He was exhausted, and stressed.
-
Hours later, the castle had fallen silent. The sun shined over Trayve's mountainous landscape, the sky now shaded a deep orange coloring. The silence was interrupted by the door creaking open, as a familiar face would peek in. "Hey, David- oh dear-!" Camella must've thought that she had intruded upon David, due to the boxers, as her uninjured arm suddenly slammed the door shut. Yet she remained at the door, still.
-
He put on clothes, and his armor within a few minutes. He opened the door, again, "Hello, Camella."
