Chapter Two - The Wrath of the Lion
Closed.
Bells. Ringing, over and over and over.
It made Armillion's head throb. It made him tighten his fist, his old, rugged fingernails digging into grisly, strong palms. It made his face tie back into an angered scowl, like a lion baring his fangs in the face of a rival to his throne.
Only, this rival had took his son.
The Golden King left his mighty keep with the haste of a brewing storm, as his four - no, now rendered to three - golden knights would accompany his side. His cape fluttered in the brewing winds as he walked, down those high stairs and down to the city, where the common man and woman had begun to wait in their panic.
Their king stood upon a podium, resting his large fists upon it's marbled surface as the crowds of gossip fell silent. Though that King would not wait for such silence. No, he would release his rage, here and there.
"-My youngest son. Taken from his home, and captured by this hidden enemy, enclosed within the maws of evil.
My knightess, Camella. Taken from her duty and rendered to a hospital bed, poison swelling her heart and holding back her justice.
My youngest daughter. My eldest son. The men and women of Trayve. Your fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, sons, and daughters - slain or taken by this Tribune!
Yet, even in darkness, we shall not falter. We shall grab this evil Tribune by the throat and strangle it, and for every death that they have caused, we will return it sevenfold! For every murder they have committed, we will unleash justice with more fury than they could imagine!
Today is a day of lions, not sheep! Today is a day of reckoning! Today is the day that we will show these filth what war truly is!"
Such fury was an unrelenting, terrifying thing.

Cain and Lilly soon found themselves upon a carriage, amongst a massive caravan of soldiers, with mighty ships following in the rivers beside them. They would have to travel continents, in order to reach their destination. Sparking conversation and understanding the situation at hand. Additionally, gathering info on the land would be beneficial.
For Splash.
David had an invitation.
Armillion had requested to meet the Titan again, only this time with Camella amongst them. He had quite literally asked the Titan to meet his partner, to investigate what had happened in the first place.
English
-
"My sole spy recovered it underground, in the many tunnels that move throughout the city. These figures.. they seem to have a small force here, and these letters are large in number. Though no Julian.. Do be careful, if you head to Zyria. The Trayvens are engaged in warfare against the Tribune there.. if you are captured by the Trayvens, you would be executed for treason, usually anyway. The Tribune are.. merciful, though."
-
"Why would they capture me? I'm technically on their side. I will not keep the note, for obvious reasons," David replied. He muttered something in Irish, familiar to Hyeanis, When I swear something on my mother's blade, I mean it. Dead or alive, I will find Julian.
-
"...That's good to hear." Hyaenis responded, to the Irish portion. "And if the Trayvens learned that you were heading out of the city.. you may be suspected of this. Trust me, stranger has happened. It may be a war crime to murder a prisoner.. but Trayve breaks laws all the time."
-
"Maybe I don't paticuluarly have to go to Zyria...." David realized, "I know a lot of Hunters. My immediate family is 60% Hunters. Or that Ghost... Centauri."
-
"You intend on sending another, in your place as a scout, then? That.. could work, I suppose."
-
"Could? It will. I know some sneaky people."
-
"Your confidence is truly inspiring." Hyaenis stated, bowing, his robe shuffling as he did so. "However, do have care with whomever you send. I have lost many spies of mine, to that cruel land."
-
"That... I won't say. I haven't figured out who I'm sending yet."
-
"You need to decide quickly, whether you like it or not. This war is just beginning, if it escalates.."
-
"Right... a lot of people would die, Amethyst, send a message to Mia," David asked.
-
"Mia.. mm, very well. I don't exactly know a Mia, but nonetheless, she should certainly hurry. She.. does know about the dimensional travel between the world of Tatakai and the Trayven realm, yes?"
-
"Yes, she does," David replied, "She's my aunt."
-
"Good. Great. Get to it, then."
-
Edited by Splashback77: 2/18/2018 7:17:36 PM"Alright, I will," David replied. "Mia's been notified. She will do it," Amethyst reported.
-
"Good. I shall leave you, for a time, then. May you.. both, of you.. sleep well." The little man would bow forwards, towards David, before then turning away and leaving him alone. Mia would likely arrive soon enough, though not exactly at night. It would be best to sleep for a bit, and then find her in the morning.
Best if you intro Mia into Trayve, I suppose.
-
The Next Morning Gates of Trayve The green-cloaked Huntress approached Trayve and its walls. She stepped a few feet outside the gate, spinning her Last Word out and back into its holster. "So this is the place that Oliver's from. Sheesh. So golden, too Roman," Mia muttered. "It's also the place that will plunge into Civil War if they find out," Lush noted, in his iconic Locus voice "But technically aren't they already in a Civil War?" "I assume you could say that."
-
The gates of Trayve were accompanied by the usual: endless caravans for trading, guardsmen, and nomadic travelers heading into the city. Though a certain individual upon horseback, hooded and cloaked, would approach Mia then. He removed the hood, revealing a young man with a shaven bald head and light brown eyes. "Mia. Hey, your half-nephew who whatever's back in the palace. Name's Edwin, I'll be leading you up." He then whistled, as another horse came up, for Mia.
-
She climbed onto the horse, "If you get shot with an arrow or something, that's on you. I probably should have made my own bow, quiver, and arrows before I came."
-
"I can hook you up with some archer equipment, get you all that you need. Daggers, hidden blades, that sort of shenanigans." Edwin added, as the two rode into the city. The blue skies blazed across the heavens, as packs of birds flew throughout the air. "They're heading west. Winter's coming, eventually. Ugh." Edwin murmured. "Your, ah.. nephew, is waiting in the keep, with his new girlfriend or whatever. Decently sure he's trying to hook up with a Lionknight, or his Ghost is trying to get them together."
-
"Amethyst.... I told her to stop teasing him so much," the Huntress sighed, "Also, I have plenty of knives, wouldn't mind adding a few more to my collection."
*This will make fine addition to my collection intensifies.*
-
"Knife girl, huh? All goes well, I'll see if I can get the royal smith to forge a steel blade with a golden hilt, wrapped with a smoothened leather handle. Think of it as a Trayven antique." Edwin added, as the two traversed through the center of the city.
-
"Hmm... might reinforce that with hadium," she muttered. "Yes, I have a lot. I think I have, what, 40 throwing knives alone."
-
"Jeez, and I thought that all my weapons and disguises were enough. Though hadium. Hadium, hadium.. oh, yeah, I remember from the report. I'll leave the infusion up to you. Anyway.. Lady Camella!" Edwin yelled, as the knightess, her arm still casted, yet she was in her knightly garb. "So good to see you, dear. How's David?" "He should be here.. soon." Camella murmured, though she bowed her head towards Mia. "My lady." "Camella Castellan," Edwin introduced her. "Lionknight of oh-so glorious King of Lions, Armillion Trayven."
-
"Mia Grey," the Huntress nodded, "Pleasure to meet you, Camella." Then, David had followed, in his usual armor, trimmed in white and gold, "Mia," he called. "David," she nodded to her nephew. She dismounted the horse. The Titan looked he didn't rest as much as he wished. Likely due to nightmares, or simply worry. "You seem.... exhausted, David. I hate to be the one that bothers you about this, but, are you getting enough sleep?" "No..." David answered, groggily.
-
"He shall be fine, I'll tend to him. He should have some time to rest, after all." Camella added, nodding in a reassuring manner. "Yep." Edwin clapped his hands together. "Anyway guys.. we should really get moving. David, tell her the plan, boss told you first."
