Accidental Not-actually-a-betrayal Garin sat at the bar of the Arrowhead's new ship sipping from a glass of wine. "I can't believe Booker didn't take it... What a waste."
GINGY

PAPÍ
• Without warning, Garin could hear one of the ship's boarding ramps come slamming down, echoing against the ground with a loud crash. Within moments, Michael Drake stormed into the common room, the metal door slamming shut behind him. Though he didn't say anything as he made his way towards Garin, the look on his face spoke volumes: the Captain was not in a joking mood.

 • Garin looked at him, slightly annoyed. "What happened to you?" Garin stepped down from his stool and moved his hand to his revolver. "Calm down."

 • "Don't draw your gun on me kid," Drake had cleared the distance between them remarkably quick and, in the blink of an eye, bashed Garin's revolver aside with a sidewards strike from his arm. Continuing his forward momentum, his prosthetic arm shot up, grabbing Garin by the shoulder and pushing down hard, slamming him back into the counter. Inside of the AMP circuitry integrated into his hand lay an ASF inhibitor chip--the same one he'd subdued Alpha with months earlier--which would disrupt Garin's ability to teleport. "Now you've got thirty goddamn seconds to explain to me why you ratted us out to Booker," Drake snarled through gritted teeth, "before I put a hole in your gut, am I clear? Because apparently I wasn't clear enough when I gave you the instructions for this op."
I'll be shorter from now on fam
• Garin winced in pain and looked up at Drake. "Drake, do you seriously believe that I am stupid enough to sell information on the best fuсking crew on Tatakai? No, I'm not. If Booker had accepted my offer, I'd've given him false and outdated information. Now would you kindly get the hell off of me, Metalhands?"

 • Drake, in fact, did not get the hell off of Garin. If anything, his witheringly powerful metal grip became stronger on Garin's shoulder. "Yes, actually, I do think you're that goddamn bloody ignorant. You told him that we were planning a hit on his ship! That wasn't fucking misinformation, that was literally what we were planning on doing--with the element of surprise, mind you--before you TOLD HIM THAT WE WERE COMING!" Drake loosened his grip on Garin, and roughly tossed him aside, off of the bar's counter. He pointed his prosthetic finger at him accusingly. "Not to mention, dipshit, that we'd told you to speak to the NTR crew in Ollimand, not the person that we're planning to attack. Did you know, by the way, that there's a bounty on your head now? Several, actually. I dunno who broke the news, but outlaws don't appreciate snitches about as much as they dislike the Feds. So, I'll repeat myself, why the hell did you rat us out?"

 • "Drake, one, don't talk down to me like a kid. Two, I was high off my ass, and to make matters worse, I chugged a beer before I talked to Booker. You of all people should know the saying, 'if you want something done right, you do it yourself'."

 • “‘You of all people should know what that means, ’ just shut the hell up Garin.” Drake snapped, with a surprisingly good imitation of Garin’s own voice. “It’s not too much for a Captain to ask someone on his crew to do a single mission. You’ve been a mercenary, you have experience dealing with these situations. If you’re so incompetent that I’d be better off without you, then I dunno why you’re still on this ship. Because right now, you’re a dangerous liability not to me, but to the whole goddamn crew.” It wasn’t a threat, per se. Drake, for all his bravado, wouldn’t necessarily want Garin to leave the crew. It was a challenge: was he up to the standards of the job? If not, Garin knew that Drake wouldn’t have second thoughts about booting him off the ship in a heartbeat. Though he hadn’t made any attempt to go for his blaster, nor did he seem to want to, Drake was still armed for combat.

 • "Actually, I'm not, Drake. All I ever did was combat and escort missions, none of this "oh, I need you silver-tongue this information out of this guy" shit. You were more qualified to take on that mission more than anyone else on this ship, Drake, but you didn't." Garin was nearly yelling now. "Instead, you put me, the new guy, up for a mission that I was simply not prepared for. I may have fuсked up in the field, but you fuсked up at home."

 • Drake shook his head, both in disagreement and disbelief. He had a thousand explanations why he couldn’t do it, a thousand arguments as to why Garin should have done it... but none of them mattered. Garin was a lost cause. No amount of debating would change that. “Get out.” The steely intensity of Drake’s voice surprised even himself, but he couldn’t let himself go soft on Garin. The kid was a liability at this point, plain and simple. This was the only way to make things work. “I’m giving you twenty minutes to pack all’ve your shit up and get the hell off my ship.” He left it at that. No further insults, no condescending reprimands, no arrogant threat. Drake let the words hang in the air, heavy as lead, until Garin was gone.

 • "Hm. Figured you'd say that, and unfortunately for you, uh... the NTR tracked me here. Too bad for you." With that, Garin was gone in a flash of blue light, teleported to his ship already in orbit around Tatakai's moon. "My revenge, at last... computer, take me anywhere except for the Tatakai system." "Sir, I've selected this planet. Is this okay?" On his ship display screen, a red, rust-colored planet could be seen. "Korriban, and with it, Korsis... my vengeance will be further exacted. Computer, engage hyperspace." "Yes sir." Around the Arrowhead, NTR ships began to encircle and surround the small luxury liner. That is, until Garin changed his mind. Disengaging the hyperdrive, Garin swerved towards the NTR ships and sent a message to Drake. "Drake, listen, you probably hate me, but listen. I've made a mistake. I need you to find a gap in the NTR's circle as I distract them, alright?.... Listen, I'm sorry. For everything. Just make this count." Garin small fighter swooped over the hulls of the NTR ship, laser cannons firing and missiles arming. As the hulking cruisers took note of the increasingly damaging fighter, their formation began to break, leaving a just-big-enough gap for the luxury liner that contained the Arrowhead. "Do it, Drake, fuсking jump! MAKE THE JUMP!" Garin continued to pound the carriers, the gap becoming wider and wider. "DO IT!"

 • Drake charged up the Alcubierre drive, boosting into action. He’d already made a few minor alterations to the ship, and this was his first test-flight. He slammed his joystick forward and to the side, pitching the Arrowhead down and sending it into a looping spiral. The ship’s new thrusters were still spluttery, and the entire ship vibrated when he suddenly righted the ship, boosting it forward beneath one of the frigates. With a glance, he looked up through the cockpit “glass” at Garin’s burning fighter, hopelessly assailing the NTR ships. Drake had a moment of pity for his former crewman, and that the situation had to end up this way. Would it be possible to intercept him, maybe save him? But the moment passed, and empathy was replaced with steely resolve. Drake didn’t owe Garin shit. He brought this onto himself. Wordlessly, he made the jump, abandoning Garin to his fate.

 • Garin's ship would freeze for a moment before entering hyperspace, going nowhere in particular. "I can't believe that worked. And you know what, it went better than expected." Inside Garin's small craft, everything was busted, cracked, or burning. But somehow, he was still alive. "Now the real test is if I can survive the exit from hyperspace, and I think I may just fail it." Instead of failing, however, Garin would find that he ended up in the exact same spot- so to speak. There we no ships, no wreckage... nothing. Curious, Garin descended into the planets atmosphere and saw the Dojo, pristine and battle-free. "No..." He landed his ship and began to run towards the gates, deciding to "Fuсk it" and teleport inside, where he was immediately held up by a cat-lookin' asshat and Orn. "Shit, not this again." Garin teleported back outside of the Dojo and into it's surrounding village. "Please, if there is a God out there, don't force me through any more time travel bullshit."
