Behind the Bar...y’know, the one JT picks up chicks at and everyone goes to. It’s generic.
Several gunshots were heard, originating from a large handgun held by what seemed to be the leader of a small group of criminals. They all had surrounded a small, 5’2” woman. She shook in fear, wrapping herself up in her white cloak that covered the short, blue dress she wore underneath. Her silver hair blew a little in the cold wind, her deep blue eyes glancing around at all the scary men around her that had backed her against a wall.
The gun was aimed at the woman, but the bullets stopped mid-air, held in place by a strange blue aura. The group stared at the bullets in confusion for a second before shrugging it off, this was the Dojo afterall.
“Come on, I’d rather not have to beat such a beautiful face in, but...oh well. Come ‘ere, lil girl….”

Open. Join them, figure out why they want her dead, figure out why they want her dead and kill them only to go after her yourself, or defend her. Do whatever.[/spoiler]

I guess that would happen. [b]lasers strike the Archmage, as he try’s to put up a magical shield. Smoke goes all around the elf and when the smoke rises they see the Elf in his knees coughing. When he sticks his head up, his hair is all messy, his clothes have stains and rips. His hands... well, what do you think, they are two balls of lightning. The lightning hands shoot small bolts of lightning at each over, creating a giant beam of chain lightning, shooting at the criminals.[/b]

Several of the criminals dropped their weapons as electricity ran through their bodies and caused them to drop. The rest seemed to have good enough armor to defend from a single electrical shock as they continued fire, slowly moving to get behind cover. The girl had ducked, laying low to the ground so the rounds flew past her head.

[u]HEY![/u] *The call came from above them and sounded like it was played through a speaker. Suddenly, a large dark-purple form landed between the men and silver. It stood up, the armor possessing familiar four-fingered hands and a long swishing tail.* [u]If you so much as take one step closer you’re going to end up a stain on the ground.[/u] *Silver would recognize this voice to be Sapphire’s, the men of course would not know this though.*

"Uh huh. Get her out of the way." The leader backed up while the grunts pushed forward. Some pulled out rifles while others pulled out plasma swords. Silver whimpered behind Sapphire, curling up a bit. "Th-Thank you..."

[u]I hate to break it to you but those plasma swords aren’t going to do much against me.[/u] *She held her right arm up, an energy shield forming from the gauntlet.* [u]Keep those barriers up Silver, I’ll stop them before they can reach you.[/u] *She dashed toward the nearest one, bashing him with the shield. The second it hit him, it sent a shock throughout his body.*

"I can't keep doing that though!" The grunts opened fire on Sapphire, the melee ones pulling out their own one-way, energy riot shields to block Sapphire from attacking them while they fired upon her. Silver got as low to the ground as she could while bullets whizzed by her head.

*She stood there for a few seconds, blocking the bullets. Unlike Sapphire, Silver wasn’t bullet resistant. She would’ve normally gone ahead and turned every criminal into a stain on the pavement, but she had Silver to protect.* *Holding the shield to block any bullets heading toward Silver, she wrapped her other arm around the small woman.* [u]Wrap your arms around my neck.[/u]

"O-Okay..." Silver did as Sapphire said, wrapping her arms around Sapphire's neck. The few dozen men continued to open fire, reloading quickly when their magazines ran low.

*There was a blue flash behind Sapphire and a loud [i]fwoosh.[/i] They flew up into the air, landing on the roof of a building. The shield disappeared and Sapphire began princess-carrying Silver. She jumped from roof to roof, heading back toward the Dojo.*

Silver giggled, holding on tightly. "Well, someone got to rescue a princess today, my hero..."

[u]Of course, I would do anything to save the princess.[/u] *She smiled within her helmet as she spoke. The jump pack greatly cut down on how long it took to get where. They were a quarter up the steps already.*

"Now...please...get me to a hospital...." Her voice got quieter as she let go of Sapphire and went unconscious. Noticeable spots of blood began to form on her dress as if she were wounded underneath.

*She squeaked and spun around, taking Silver to a hospital.* *** *When Silver awoke, it would be in a hospital bed with Sapphire sitting in a chair next to her. The blinds had been drawn closed, probably for privacy purposes.* [u]Are you feeling alright?[/u]

"Sapphire?" Silver healed far faster than a normal person, sitting up in bed and looking over at Sapphire.

*She nodded, smiling.* [u]Yep. I brought you here.[/u]

Silver smiled back, happy to see a friend. "Thanks, I only stopped the those bullets in one sense...still took the injuries."

[u]Well, I’m relieved to see you’re okay.[/u] *She scooted her chair closer.* [u]I had been considering giving you a call.[/u]

"Really? I would've loved to hangout with you today, but I'm going to be in here for a while. They want to make sure nothing bad happens, like the bullets were cursed or something. The doctors here are very cautious with the Dojo around here."

*Her ears flatten sadly.* [u]Aww... I was really looking forward to going to dinner with you...[/u]

"Dinner? Hmm....Well, I could get us out of here without them noticing." She smirked at Sapphire. "I'd love to go eat dinner with you, I'm staving."

*She smiled back.* [u]Let’s go then! But tell me if you start feeling weird or bad and I’ll bring you back. You were out for quite a while though, they treated for a lot of that stuff so I think it’s unlikely.[/u]

"I'll be fine, just turn around so I can get dressed." Silver got out of bed and put on her clothes that were set aside beside it.

*Sapphire turned around like she had asked and turned back around once she was dressed.* [u]Ready?[/u]

"Ready!" Silver wrapped an arm around Sapphire. The two would instantly find thenselves outside the hospital. "Now, where are we going?"

*She looked around in surprise, but then remembered Silver’s magic.* [u]Well, I was planning to decide that with you in the call. Have you heard of any good places?[/u] *She wrapped an arm around Silver as well, seeming more confident with contact now than when they had initially met.*
