"Sapphire?"
Silver healed far faster than a normal person, sitting up in bed and looking over at Sapphire.

*She nodded, smiling.* Yep. I brought you here.
-
Silver smiled back, happy to see a friend. "Thanks, I only stopped the those bullets in one sense...still took the injuries."
-
Well, I’m relieved to see you’re okay. *She scooted her chair closer.* I had been considering giving you a call.
-
"Really? I would've loved to hangout with you today, but I'm going to be in here for a while. They want to make sure nothing bad happens, like the bullets were cursed or something. The doctors here are very cautious with the Dojo around here."
-
*Her ears flatten sadly.* Aww... I was really looking forward to going to dinner with you...
-
"Dinner? Hmm....Well, I could get us out of here without them noticing." She smirked at Sapphire. "I'd love to go eat dinner with you, I'm staving."
-
*She smiled back.* Let’s go then! But tell me if you start feeling weird or bad and I’ll bring you back. You were out for quite a while though, they treated for a lot of that stuff so I think it’s unlikely.
-
"I'll be fine, just turn around so I can get dressed." Silver got out of bed and put on her clothes that were set aside beside it.
-
*Sapphire turned around like she had asked and turned back around once she was dressed.* Ready?
-
"Ready!" Silver wrapped an arm around Sapphire. The two would instantly find thenselves outside the hospital. "Now, where are we going?"
-
*She looked around in surprise, but then remembered Silver’s magic.* Well, I was planning to decide that with you in the call. Have you heard of any good places? *She wrapped an arm around Silver as well, seeming more confident with contact now than when they had initially met.*
-
"No, not really. I'm still getting to know this place." She sighed. "Do you have any idea?"
-
Yeah. There’s a quiet seafood place not too far from here with some pretty good fish. A table for two wouldn’t have much in the background to distract us.
-
"That sounds great! We can talk and get to know each other better. Lead the way, Sapphire."
-
*She smiled and kept her arm around Silver, strolling to the restaurant. It was somewhat small, but quite clean and atmospheric inside. They had a table for two in the corner, one of only five groups of customers in the entire restaurant.*
-
Silver sat down with a smile, gazing around. "This is rather nice, Sapphire."
-
Mhmm. *She nodded, happily returning the smile. A waitress came up and gave them both glasses of water before leaving.*
-
"I assume you've been here before. Was it with a friend or something?" She asked, turning to look at Sapphire.

Edited by Skatch142: 1/6/2018 4:04:50 PMI have, actually. My daughter had never tasted crab before and I hadn’t either, so I took her here for her birthday. The food was really good.
-
"Oh, that sounds lovely. I can't imagine how happy you make her, I bet you're a great parent."
-
Oh thank you. I try to be the best mother I can for her. I didn’t really know what I was getting into at first, but it’s become easier. *She smiled as she spoke.* I think she would like you.
-
"You think so? Thanks. I've always been a kid sort of person, but of course I've never come close to having my own."
-
I didn’t think I was a kid sort of person, then Mari came along and changed that.
-
"Hmm. How did you end up adopting her anyway?"
-
She and her older brother moved to the Dojo after their family had been killed. I had recently befriended her brother when I found her terrified and hiding outside... He had been murdered and she was the only one of her family left alive... So, I made a promise that I would protect her and took her home. The rest is history. *Her smile had faded as she recalled what Mari had gone through.* She’s gone through too much, really... But she’s strong, and she’s happy.
