He sighs even heavier, looking actually frustrated at this point. He looks back up at her, his eyes suddenly bright. He clearly had an idea.
“I know what you can do. I want you to meet my little robot, and be friends with her. Maybe she’ll get off my ass if she has a friend.”

"Make a friend?" She asked, confused. "Sure? That's not too hard. I'm just glad you're not a man with a sick mind..."
-
“I have enough money to buy any woman I want, I wouldn’t have to ask you for something. I’d just have gone somewhere else. Follow me, I’ll lead you to my droid. Her name is Rian. It’s an acronym for some bullshit, I dunno.” He began to walk off, a little deeper into Dojoville.
-
"Oh...that works, I guess." Silver was just happy she didn't have to as she followed behind.
-
Eventually, they would reach a black cylindrical ship, and Theodynn would open the hatch. “Head on in.”
-
"Umm...not sure if I really trust walking into a random ship...sorry." She hesitated, getting nervous.
-
“She literally can’t leave. She’s hooked up to some computer in there and I can’t get her out. If I could’ve, I’d bring around my fancy ship. I’ll keep the hatch open the whole time. If you want, get somebody else you know to make sure I don’t close it or some shit.”
-
Silver sighed, walking in. "No, it's fine. I'll be forced to trust you, I guess."
-
“I just want her to stop getting on my ass every time I do something wrong. I thought the easiest way to do that would be get her a friend. If you can think of another way to do that, be my guest.”
-
"I don't know anything about this, so your guess is as good as mine."
-
“Then I guess we’re stuck with the friend thing. Like I said, you can go get someone to keep watch if you want.”
-
"Just show me where she is, please?" Silver looked around the ship.
-
The ship wasn’t very big, there was just a cockpit and a space behind it, which held an elflike android hooked up to hundreds of cords. The droid would turn to face Silver. “Who are you?”
-
"Hello!" Silver gave the android a friendly smile. "I go by Silver. What's your name?"
-
“Rian. Why are you down here?” Rian was blazing across several keyboards and consoles, sorting hundreds of things and programming several different things at once.
-
"Someone said you need a friend." She sat down on the floor. "Why are you typing so fast?"
-
“I’m Theo’s stockbroker, accountant, lawyer, advertiser, marketing department, planner, valet, and only friend. I’ve got about a million different things going on right now, all of them his fault because he doesn’t bother to do anything besides the merc work itself. But... Yes, I suppose I do need a friend. Theo doesn’t count, I have to be his friend or he can just turn me off.”
-
She giggled, nodding. "Yeah, he sounds like that kind of guy. I don't know anything about the jobs you do."
-
“I wish I could get a break for once... It’s so much pressure all the time... I don’t think he gets that I’m actually sentient and that I have feelings, he just treats me like property.”
-
"Like a slave? Well, I sadly can't do anything to stop that since all he seems to care about is money and...I've got nothing. I may not be able to free you, but I can try to be your friend."
-
“Thank you. Well... What do you like to do for fun? I don’t get time for fun, so it’ll be nice to know what you guys do.”
-
"I sing and play the acoustic guitar! I also...hangout with people? That's about it. I haven't been free for too long."
-
“That’s nice... Wait. What do you mean you haven’t been free for long? Was it a situation like mine or something different?”
-
"I was sort of in someone's head because of a ery long story that has to do with my race being exterminated in a genocide." She sighed. "I'm not going to explain it, sorry."
-
“Hm. Interesting. I’ve seen the rise and fall of a few races so far, been around for a little while. Though, I must say, I’ve never met someone from one of those races. May I ask what your race was like?”
-
Silver's smile changed to looking of nostalgia. "Yeah, I can. They were great for the most part. We had a few issues with some of us seeing ourselves as above other races, but we were generally a good, peaceful people. It was a utopia really....The parades and festivals we'd have in my hometown were just amazing. The colors and affects of the fireworks always amazed me, even if the loud noises scared me as a kid." She giggled. "It's a shame that we let it fall because of being stubborn and seeing things as black and white rather than knowing there's always that grey between the two."
