He had been murdered and she was the only one of her family left alive... So, I made a promise that I would protect her and took her home. The rest is history.[/u] *Her smile had faded as she recalled what Mari had gone through.* [u]She’s gone through too much, really... But she’s strong, and she’s happy.[/u]

"Oh..that sounds terrible." Silver sighed, before leaning over and resting a hand on Sapphire's. "At least you're making her happy now."

*She nods, taking Silvers’s and and smiling a little.* [u]Yeah.[/u]

Silver sat back in her seat again. "I find it really amazing how selfless you were to do such a thing."

Silver went over the menu as well. "Navy? You were in a navy of some kind?"

[u]It is at first, but it gets boring after a while. What’s more interesting though are the alien worlds.[/u]

"Oh? I've been to plenty of alien worlds. They're a lot of fun, so many adventures!"

She shrugged again. "I don't know. I think they thought they could make some money off of me or something."

"Umm..in a few ways. Like, I can let people relive their happiest memories or make certain lewd activities far better than normal....It's nice, but the attention I think is getting bad."

[u]Hmm... I guess it’s good that I have one of these then.[/u] *She handed Silver a small controller-like device with a button.* [u]My armor has a mental link to me, hit that button and it’ll alert my armor and alert me. It’ll pinpoint your location so I can find you.[/u]
