Zane would end up travelling to a familiar village in the nozama mountains, the same village that held the great library known as the arcanum. Bakers contractor was here, and Zane had offered to clear up any misunderstanding that would arise due to the...complications, of the contract. With the old man baker had sleeping for the vast duration the drive was six hours to get to the sage like town.
The two would arrive in front of an inn, were the crazy man was put in a bag for concealment. It was a single story building, clearly meant for just a few travellers to stay.

"Back in this town huh. Glad to see it's been rebuilt. So this is where your contractor is right?"
-
“Yea. You’ve been here before?” Baker asked as the two began to make their way to the inns door.
-
"Indeed, was here when the town was attacked. My Friends and I helped defend against my rouge clan."
-
“Huh! Didn’t hear about that one.” Baker admitted. “This town has been a pinnacle of knowledge on Tatakai for a real long time, I doubt even a severe attack could make it collapse.” Baker opened to door to the Inn, revealing a very empty main area with a bar, some tables and lit light atop the ceiling as the sunlight from evening was only dim and crept into the cozy establishment. Upon entry, one of the maids immediately walked up to Baker. “You’re back I see.” The short haired brunette would say. “Yep. Igor is still around ya?” Baker asked the maid. “Yes, he’s in the same room he was in last time you were here.” “Thanks.” Baker said, nodding with appreciation. The maid then looked to Zane. “Ah! Champion Zane!” She would greet. “There’s a round on the house for you here if you’re interested.”
-
"Ah that's quite alright. However I'll treat the other guests to a round on me." He handed her more then enough cash to cover the expenses.
-
She chuckled a bit at the offer. “I think Sage Teddy has had enough already.” As she pointed to the only man in the bar, who was passed out at a table. “Come back in a few hours though? I’m sure the scholars would love it.”
-
"If I'm still in town then I will come back. Maybe have a night out with the wife. If I don't come back however then you can keep the cash."
-
She folded the dollars between her fingers and slipped them into a pouch on her side. “It’s appreciated! Thank you. Anyways, you two were going to see Igor?” With that, Baker made his way across the Inn and towards a nice wooden door to the right side of the building. With four knocks to start, Baker called out to the door. “Igor! It’s Baker. I got what you wanted.” He called. After a moment, a low articulated voice came from the room. “Then enter.” The man called out. Baker gave Zane a funny raised eyebrow look as he opened the door and walked inside. As Zane entered, he saw that the room was quite cozy and nice. There was a large king sized bed in the room, along with two bookshelves, a few lamps, a desk scattered with papers and of course, the man sitting at it. The man was unexpectedly large. Not in a way that was fat, but rather muscular and toned. He wore pitch black robes that covered his body and almost seemed to tear at his broad shoulders. A large hood covered his face, shrouding it in darkness. “I did not expect you to come back with a...plus one.” The low voice booked from under the hood. “Set him down on the bed.” The cloaked figure said, gesturing Baker to the bed. Baker did so, tossing the body bag onto the bed which was followed by the sprouting of springs sounding from within the mattress. “I will not be paying you anymore then the agreed amount...if that was what you were expecting by getting a comrade i am afraid you were mistaken to the conditions of the contract.” Igor told Baker, and partly Zane. “No, of course not.” Baker confirmed. “I just happened to run into this guy on the job, helped me out of a bind.” “And who is “this guy” then...?” The cloaked figure asked, towards Zane. The bulky man did not look up from his desk as he continued to write.
-
"Zane Nightingale. I made a mistake when I entered the ruins and I Intend to make up for it."
-
“Not everyone made it out then, I am assuming.” The man said. “The contract was clear that no one was to die, except for Tiberius.” Igor Said, pointing to the figure on the bed. “However...I understand the circumstance was likely accidental, or of last resort. Correct?”
-
"Indeed, I woke one up to try and get information. A mistake on my part, as he then tried to kill me. I deeply apologize, and I'd do what ever I need to do to make up for it."
-
“Your apology will be enough, as long as you tell me why you happened to show up at the temple...and why. Are you a mercenary as well?” The man asked. “No, he’s not.” Baker would say for Zane. “You haven’t heard of this guy before, Igor?” “...No. I have not.” The cloaked figure would reply, turning in his chair to look at the two men. His face was well concealed, but Zane saw long black hair flow out from his hood and onto his chest, as well as a dark beard that puffed on his face. However that was all he could see of the mysterious figure. “My question still stands Zane Nightingale, why did you arrive at the temple?”

"I was looking for a machine that make enchanted pants. Was trying to find it so that I could bring it back to a old shop owner named Ralphie and get a pair of pants that would help me get my magic back. Once again found the machine however I decided to destroy it. Too much destruction has come from it, better it broken."
-
“...There was a machine that made the pants?” The figure asked, surprised. “I had no idea we had such an item. I thought there were only so many pairs in the world and that was the end of it. Interesting.”
-
"Indeed. I decided that I'd get my magic back another way. After all, you dont achieve anything by taking the easy way out."
-
“Very wise words...however it will take you years to harness natural magic. I wish you the best. Now, onto the boys payment.” Igor would say, going to the next topic. “Due to the single causality, and the destruction of property, I will pay you half the agreed upon amount.” “What?!” Baker would exclaim. “Sir, you cant just-“ “Collateral damage is an unlisted item on every contract, Mr.Baker. You are young, and I wouldn’t expect you to know that, however it is simply the truth and now you know. Consider this a well thought lesson. Now, I will pay you 2500$, or I will pay you nothing. It is your choice.”
-
"Sir, allow me to pay for the damages in his steed. Please play him the full amount."
-
“Pay him back for what you lost him. That is your business. I will only be paying 2500.” The figure would say, being firm but not unreasonable in tone.
-
"Very well. Take the money baker, and I'll pay you the rest."
-
Igor would pull out a drawer, and hand rummage around for a moment before handing Baker a closed envelope. Baker snagged it from the large man’s hands. “Pleasure doing business...call me if you need anything else.” Baker told Igor. The large figure would only nod, before gesturing the two to the door.
-
Zane lead Baker out if the room and pulled him to the side. He took out his wallet and pulled out $7500, handing it over to him "That should be more then enough to cover for my mistake."
-
“Uh...ya! Way more, actually. You’d only have to pay like a third of that...” Jon would say, scratching the back of his head awkwardly.
-
"I know, but I screwed up your contract. Think of the rest as a bonus."
-
Baker looked at the cash for a moment, before smirking a bit. “Well, I guess when you put it that way.” He said, taking the cash from Zane and putting it in the envelope Igor had given him. “Well, it was fun! Maybe we’ll see eachother again. If not, best of luck to you.”
-
"Same to you baker. Was good fighting with you."
