So, I need to say, before I start, that I'm sorry I've been inactive for a while. I've just been preocupied with other non-Destiny things, but I'm gonna try and keep this going. After all, there is another story that kinda pivots on Yavan, so I'm gonna work hard with this. That said, here's the second entry:

‘I received a strange message today. It wasn’t a phone call, or letter, or anything like that. Instead, it was in my mind. The message was as follows:
“Yavan. Come to The Lighthouse on Mercury. We have much to discuss. Leviathan.”
I felt very strange after hearing the message inside my head, so It seems like a good idea to meet this Leviathan. Wasn’t Mercury the garden world that the Vex transformed into a machine? Wasn’t it a place where they ran thousands of simulations of Time itself?
I didn’t know much about the Vex at that point, but I had a desire to learn more. So, I ran to the library and checked out every single book there was on what we knew about the Vex. What I discovered is that we don’t really know all that much about them. They’re a hive mind, controlled by Radiolarian fluid. It looks and awful lot like milk, but it’s not. It will transform whatever it touches into Vex. Oh, yeah, and they also control time in some places. The two known places are the Vault of Glass in the Ishtar Sink on Venus, and the other is a place called the Infinite Forest on Mercury. Here the Vex simulate all possible outcomes, and find the reality that best suits them.
Most of these books were by a man named Osiris, though some were also by Ikora. When I asked Ikora who this Osiris character was, she simply told me to never speak of it again. With a shrug, I went to the hangar. I had to enter this Infinite Forest and talk to Leviathan. The chances are probably high that I’ll meet Osiris, too. Armed with my trusty SUROS Regime, I “borrowed” a jumpship and started off for Mercury. Okay, I stole it, but it’s the fault of whoever Guardian left the engines running and the door unlocked! Anyway, I’ve got a long flight ahead of me, and I need to pay attention. You never know if there’ll be any minions of the Darkness out here in space.
Yavan’
Kade almost fell asleep as he read Yavan’s explanation of the Vex. However, he did perk up when he read the name “Osiris.” If Yavan actually met Osiris… Kade wondered. Then maybe there’s some invaluable knowledge about Osiris’ side of the story. And he also met Leviathan. I wonder if he’s the same man as where I’m from… Kade continued to read, eager to find out what happened in Yavan’s meeting.
