In my humble opinion, changing the skill tree to what it is now is worse the casualisation, it was a huge nerf.
We had our ability to choose taken away and replaced with 2 skill trees that offer a couple of good perks and a couple do bad ones. Catering to casuals doesnt come close to excusing the fact that we can't even pick and choose our perks like we could in D1. If you're a casual player it won't matter much to you how your tree is set up, if you're semi-casual then you might look up some suggestions or just mix and match till you find what you like most, simple as that.
I didn't know what the hell I was doing when I started D1 but with time and practice I got used to everything by the time the dark below dropped, I started paying attention to forums and the meta for PvP whenever I played that and I just kept using the layout I liked the most in PvE or the one that fit the situation.
Bottom line, yes I want our skill trees back, and now I want even more. I want our INT, DIS and STR back on our armor even if each tier means slightly less than it did in D1, I want armor, recovery and agility back in the skill trees (and for agility to do something for once) and I want even more perks. Not a massive amount more right away, but a couple of columns of perks to mix and match would be nice.
