"He was a Trayvern once?" Alric asked with the same confused demeanor, rubbing at his eyes with his hands. He seemed oddly tired, as he yawned immediately afterwards and returned his hands to their clasped position behind his back.
"That could explain why he wished to create a temporary alliance between our two forces. He has faith in us, perhaps."

"It's not my fort, so.. I can't judge." Elina nodded, as she pushed herself off of the table and crossed her arms together. "We need an actual plan of attack. Draw these guys out, and then what? They'll return with reinforcements." "The Tribune host is much larger than the Trayven. We would bait out more of these warriors, and you would come in with a flanking maneuver." The Knight-Commander said, moving the stone pieces around the crack, detailed mapping of Rivelria.

"Very well." Alric turned his attention from Sirius to Elina now. "The Dojo warriors will be the middle of the group. The Trayverns will compromise the flanks, and will assault the Sand Warriors form the sides in an attempt to pinch them together." The plan put Dojo lives in more danger than Trayvern lives. A win to Elina perhaps, but a loss to the troops Alric commanded.

The Trayven commander fell silent as she looked over at Alric quietly, studying him. "We have more troops though, you'd be putting your soldier's lives in.. ...but we have more troops. Support. Yes, alright." She nodded, then moving a few pieces. A red Dojo symbol in the middle, with purple lions around it. "I think we're good. We just need to pull it off."

"So then. An assault on their fort to draw their forces toward our own." Alric stated, looking to Elina and then Sirius. "Once we arrive at our own fort, we blow it up, attacking the Sand Warriors and their reinforcements from behind with the Trayvern and Dojo forces."

"No, no. Do not misunderstood me, ser. I realize what you are saying, and what I wish to say is perhaps we should not fight them in the Valley at all. We draw them away from the valley, and those caves entirely. Alric defended himself, closing his hand into a fist and looking at the Knight Commander. "If we have any reason to be concerned for witchcraft that could tip the battle into their favour, we should not give them that advantage."
