To some surprise it was still slightly warm to the touch. It had to have been spilled only a few minutes at most. Alexis tapped his shoulder pointing at what looked like a small crudely made stick hut that wasn't noticeable until a certain angle. It looked empty judging by the opening but a low growling was heard echoing through the wooded area.

"The blood is still warm, so the beast is injured. Tending to its wounds as best as it can. Seems severe. Blood loss, the arcs in the snow..." Alric rose tall, drawing the straight blade on his back. It gleamed and Red realized it was a silver blade. He started walking toward the hut, keeping the sword pointed downward.

Red pulled a silver gladius from her cloak along with an axe that seemed fairly similar to one that would be used to chop wood only differing due to a sturdier handle. The growling grew a more hostile before a trunk was thrown just above their head as a primitive threat. Standing 50 feet into the distance a massive ape looking creature stood with a slash across its chest. Likely from another hunter turned victim to its brutality. From the distance it had to have been 8 feet tall with the force of a mammoth behind its muscles. "Well we found it." Red said looking at the intimidating giant. "Now to hope we can kill it"

"We must do what we must." Alric agreed, starting his walk toward the beast. He spun the blade in his hand, making a hand gesture.

The beast was quick to make its true on its threat and began barreling at the two on all fours. Alexis quickly switched her axe for her revolver and fired off a few rounds at its face. The bullets only manage to pierce its flesh but it's skull was too dense for even her 45s to break through. It was closing the gap and it would be in melee range rather fast.

Alric came to a sudden halt, one of his hands dipping into his pouch and bringing out an orb of some sort. He lobbed it straight at the beast's face, a explosion going off as it stuck.

While it wasn't able to cover its entire face it used its hand to protect its eyes down to its lower lip leaving the fur around it scorched and a rather nasty burn on its arm. By then it had gotten up close and rose onto its hind legs preparing to slam its fists down on the two. Red got ready to jump out of the way reaching for a fist full of throwing knives to hurl once she had the chance.

Alric however, did otherwise. He rolled across the ground right in front of the beast and stabbed upward toward the beast chest. Cleary, he was trying to finish it off as soon as possible.

A flurry of knives caught one of its legs and the sword sunk into the yeti's chest. It began making an audible wheezing noise, likely from having a punctured lung. It would be doubtful that it would be nearly as mobile as it immediately was. Still, the beast went to grab its attacker that stabbed it to attempt to crush it I he could. Alexis was looking at it throat with her gladius still out. She was looking for an opportunity to attempt to severe its spine if she could. She made a few slashes at its back but it was moving around too much for get a clear swing.

Alric pulled his sword out of the Yetis chest and sidestepped the hand, slashing at the Yetis arm.

[spoiler]I think I gave myself a concussion after reading how bad my grammar was on the last reply I sent x.x...[/spoiler] The yeti seemed a bit panicked, unable to pick between fending off what was in front of him, or the girl who kept tearing at it's back. The arm struck by the sword, despite the recoil that would likely come from hitting such dense bone, went limp from how deep the laceration was. With its other arm, it swung around trying to hit her though she dove under it, pulled out her revolver and emptied the last two shots in the chamber into its face to startle it.

[spoiler]it's alright, I figured it out xD[/spoiler] The recoil was indeed pretty severe, as Alric stumbled back a few feet and pulling his blade out of the beast as he did so. It took a few moments for him to readjust himself, and once he was prepared he leapt at the Yeti, swinging his blade wildly.

Blood loss was starting to kick in. The yeti just seemed to be half swinging its arm practically dragging it on the ground with a dazed look in its eyes as of not being able to focus. Even Alexis was able to block its hits without too much trouble. Eventually it just dropped and stopped breathing. Red pulled out the axe and lined it up with the creatures neck, likely to use as evidence to claim the bounty. She took a few hacks at it but it seemed it would likely take a while to break through the spine. "Wow, that thing was something else. It may as well have had steel for bones" She said as she chipped away at its neck bit by bit.

"Hmm..." Alric spun the blade and slashed it through the air. Droplets of blood fell of the blade into the snow and the Witcher cast a weary eye around the area. "As quickly as possible, if you please. There are many other Yetis in these mountains. Some of which even speak the common tongue. If they find us..."

"Yeah, one sec." Alexis took a few more very heavy swings before the spine finally snapped off. After that she took a knife and quickly carved the rest off its shoulders and with her now blood red gloves, grabbed the larges clump of fur the could and got ready to pull it down the trail. "Alright think we're good to go. Maybe I'll make a knife out of one of the teeth once were out of here."

"I believe I will attempt to sell at least one of them." Alric stated, sheathing his blade and beginning down the path from whence they had came.

Red dragged the severed head behind her on the hill, going on with the things she was thinking of buying with her cut. A boot knife, maybe a small shed inside of the town to store and sell firewood and a few handmade knives and trinkets. The girl really seemed to like blades and weaponry though. "So what about you? I mean 100G is pretty good when it comes to bounties" she said as Red looked over with the large head leaving a red trail behind her.

"Myself? I will transfer the reward into something more suitable. Such as those... Credits... That people have begun using here." Alric shrugged, helping with the body as best he could. "That way, they could be more useful in the grand scheme. Though, I will use a majority of the funds to prepare my Witcher school in the mountains]."

"A teacher huh?" Back at the lodge the few ski goers brave enough to ride the slope despite the warning, took a moment to look at the duo. When asked by the manager about the reward, Red had hers written on a check for her half of the share letting him know the bounty was split between the two of them.

"Something of the sorts..." [i]Alric nodded in agreement, taking his own check before turning to Red. [/i] "It's a pleasure serving with you, Red. I hope to do it once more."

"Yeah, I'll give you've heads up if any new bounties show up that I'll need help with" Red said as she got ready to head back into town. [spoiler]End.[/spoiler]
