Nightfall Timer why is it going?
Why is the nightfall timer being removed? I mean come on there are enough milestones for the filthy casuals to easily achieve. One of the reasons this game isnt as popular as D1 is because there is nothing to prove your skill.
Nothing to prove you got to 335 without welfare engrams. Stop pandering to the casuals and start giving back to your hardcore players who stick around waiting for "improvements".
If you cant beat a timer then you need to get good.

I agree with you that they shouldn’t t completely take away the nightfall timer but at least allow to play without it. I wouldn’t see why it would be hard to offer both. They could even offer better/exclusive loot for those who completed it with the timer.

Bungie should keep the timer (with no added anomalies or rings, etc.), but still allow completion of NF even after the timer runs out. If you happen to complete the NF before timer runs out will reward you with some exceptional ornament or other noteworthy reward above the standard reward. This way those top tier players can still earn something exceptional for their talents and have something noticeably adorned upon their characters and standard players can still have their fun completing the NF at their chosen pace.

He has a great point. Prestige/Normal nightfalls simply wouldn't be fun without a timer. I guess it kicks you out after the timer is gone when you're about to beat it but its the only real PvE challenge for now and I would not like to see this timer go away.

I didn't do alot of Nightfalls to reach 335, I didn't even do the Raids to reach it. It literally takes no skill to reach max Power level so what the hell you talking about?

6 RepliesDid you play d1 nightfalls? You know the time when the team went back to orbit in case of a wipe? Those nightfalls were way harder than in d2. Not saying they were extremly hard, but you had a nerve in them that’s completely gone in d2. Now you just run through them with minimal effort. Timers being removed is a good thing.
