“Wind in the original form.”
The wind rustles together until it takes on the form of a tall slender man in a green coat with silver hair and eyes.
“But you can call me Verdantus.”

“A spirit of wind...” She said, almost astonished. She put her mask on her face quickly, to her kind it being rude to commune with spirits of any kind wearing one’s mortal face. “I have rarely seen any of your kin before.”
-
“You probably have actually, I might be one of the more important ones, but I’m still just a Wylfae Sihde, we’re fairly common.”
-
“Then I scarcely remember meeting any of them. My name is Daun.” She said, bowing to the spirit.
-
“A pleasure to meet you little masque.”
-
“What brings a powerful spirit such as yourself to these woods?” She asked, attempting to show respect to what she believes to be one of the Spirits her people believed in
-
“Curiosity mostly. I picked up a tip from a brownie that there was a mortal living out here and I was curious.”
-
“Yes, I am living out here. Or st least, I’m planning on roosting out there. Please, forgive me if I have intruded in your territory.” She said, sounding almost legitimately worried
-
He chuckles. “If you’re stepping on any toes, it’s probably old Terberr’s, and he’s been asleep for twenty years and isn’t scheduled to wake up for nineteen score more. Watch out though, some undesirables from Winter might show up to try to hustle you.”
-
“I’ll keep watch. Thank you for the warnings.” She said kindly. “To be honest, it feels nice to have a place to call home for now.”
-
“Good. Oh, and sorry for slipping in mostly uninvited, but I figured I should leave most of my power at the door to keep from frightening you.”
-
“Most spirits do come in without warning. Not you faults though, so it’s all forgiven.”
-
“Most spirits aren’t Fey. We are supposed to be polite and all that.”
-
“Honestly, my family would’ve been less polite than you had been. I think you’re fine.” She said laughing a bit
-
“Your family are mortals, or at least I think they are, I’d need to see your blood to tell if you were a changeling.”
-
“I can assure you they are mortal. As I said though, all is forgiven for your intrusion. I wasn’t doing anything important like setting up a ritual anyways.”
-
“Ritual, so you are a wizard then?”
-
“No, more a shaman. Blessings of the Spirits and Gaia Mother is where I get my abilities from, and so we must uphold certain rituals to keep them appeased.”
-
“So a warlock by another name, or a priest by another name?”
-
“In a sense, yes. I prefer to go by a shaman though, as it’s what my people refer to it as.”
-
“Priest then, good to know. I didn’t smell anyone else on you or I wouldn’t have walked in here.”
-
“I’m not exactly a people person. The only others out here really are my Forest Guardians, and other spirits.”
-
“Not what I meant but never mind.”
-
“Oh, you meant another spirit I presume? Being a shaman I do interact with many of them, being a bridge for them here is one of my duties.”
-
“More specific than just spirit.”
-
“A specific spirit then? I’d be happy to mediate any dispute.”
