"I don't know," she replied, surveying the deal that was going on before her. "I'm sure as hell that we can't beat them here. Not now. Charging in would probably just get us killed. But..."
She paused briefly, thinking about... an idea.
"Is there any way that we could put a tracker on that ship without them knowing?"

"You're in luck." Gabriel started looking through his pockets and cloak before eventually pulling a small circular disc out. He held in between his fingers, showing it off. "Usually made for monsters like werewolves... But this can be an exception."

"Is that a tracker or a cloak?"

"You asked for a tracker."

"Alrighty then," she said, "Then we need to get to that ship. Have a cloaking device as well by any chance?"

"Not for the two of us, no." Gabriel rifled through his cloak once more, bringing out a triangle shaped object.

"Well shit." She said, still cautiously eying the deal, "It [i]is[/i] your tech though. I don't want to risk damaging it."

"Bah. I can always get more. Perks of working for super organization that spans the bloody galaxy." He chuckled, handing it over to her.

"Alright then." Sarah said enthusiastically, taking the device. She took out something, put it onto her ear, and brought out another. "Here. Take this. It's an m-class focus and listening device. That way you can hear what they're saying. Anything goes wrong, I'll signal you."

"You got it." He took the communication device and place it in his ear, nodding his head. "Here we go."

She activated the cloak, moving toward the transport ship as she went. From here, he could now hear the conversation. There were two speakers, one being the man identified as William and the other being the woman that was supposedly involved with Frontier. [quote][Unknown]: Do you have the artifact with you? William: Yes. The money? [U]: Certainly. It will be delivered to you once I see and have the artifact.[/quote] He brought at a small, pyramid-shaped device of a black color. While showing to her, he was still cautious. [quote]W: No no no. Give me the money first. Can't be too sure. [U]: Give me the artifact, William. I'll get you your money. Or would you want this to be harder than it truly has to be?[/quote]

Gabriel scoffed to himself, shaking his head at the stupidity. "You hearing this? Your buddy is an idiot. If they wanted him dead, he'd be dead already."

We don't want anyone knowing of our dealings here.[/quote] "Shit!" Sarah said over the private channel, "Get down and run!" And so, the Titan fired into the forest.

"Son of a bitch..." Gabriel dived to the side, slamming into the ground and rolling down a small hill. He stopped at the bottom, groaning as he got to his feet and started running through the forest.

In a barrage of fire, it took do the Titan and most of the troops. "Well if it isn't one of the most renowned treasure hunters in the system." A strange voice said over the earpiece. A bandit perhaps. "I take it you're having a bit of trouble. Meet me in Starlight City. Let's talk." And with that, the ship flew off.

"What..." Gabriel rose to his feet with a groan, casting a charm over any bruises. Quickly healing himself, he walked toward the train yard. "HEY! SARAH?!" Gabriel called out, picking up one of the dead soldiers weapons.

"Yep. Heard it to," she responded, checking the dead for weapons and materials. "That, if I'm remembering correctly, is lieutenant of an old friend of mine. He's the leader of a gang in a place called Starlight City. And it looks like he wants [i]us[/i]. Trust me. He'll help." She took out a screen, touched a few buttons, and put it away. "I'll give you the coordinates. Meet me there in a few hours. This is going to get a [i]whole[/i] lot stranger." [spoiler]End. Chapter One will be up in a bit. Got to reply to some people and make another post.[/spoiler]
