At this point I think Bungie is just trying to kill the Destiny franchise
I'd consider myself a patient person. I've stuck with Destiny 2 regardless of the many issues I personally had with it. I've offered many suggestions in the forums with what I thought would make it more exciting. I assumed Bungie would move past the Eververse heavy stuff and actually try to build on the solid foundation they laid by the end of Destiny 1. Destiny 2 has some solid mechanics and can be molded into something fun, exciting, and most of all new (not a big Destiny 1 DLC). But apparently Bungie is refusing to lead us in that direction.
I could go on about the direction of this game for a while but it's all been said before. I'll just sum up the latest glaring issue...
You really thought it was a good idea to limit faction token drops AND THEN SELL A GHOST SHELL IN THE EVERVERSE SHOP THAT GIVES YOU MORE!? Have you learned absolutely nothing? This is Bungie smoking the gateway drug that leads to pay-to-win gear in the cash shop. There is no way you could have possibly thought this wasn't going to blow up and if you somehow did then you are clearly so disconnected with your audience that you should probably just shut down the servers now because there is no saving this franchise.
I usually put in my advice and ideas about how I would like Bungie to fix issues but is there point anymore? I am beyond disappointed.
