<I do not have exact likes or dislikes, apart from whether something conflicts with my morals or not, I am neutral about most things. Therefore, I am studying the likes and dislikes of others, as well as their motivations and how their emotions are felt. I wish to be seen as more [i]real[/i].>

<Well, I don’t have any experience being anything else, so it is hard to describe. I don’t eat, drink, sleep or get tired. I cannot see the way others do either, I use echolocation.>

"Huh..." Malcolm looked off, seemingly lost in thought. "So how do you see me? Now? In this large, open space?"

<Well, really it’s less like seeing and more like feeling... I have no form of ocular input whatsoever, so when others describe something I imagine feeling it. I can use sound to not just tell shape, but texture and density as well. It’s as if I am reaching out and touching my surroundings. I can ‘see’ everything around myself within thirty yards, but it gradually becomes less clear. On the other hand, I can sacrifice my area of perception for more clarity from a distance, like a telescope. At short distances I have an advantage over others, but at long distances I am disadvantaged.>

"Why does you colour make any difference to whether or not you are?"

*She pulled back the sleeve of her trench coat to show the orangey-yellow fur on her hand and the dark blue fur on her forearm, separated by a dark red stripe.* <My fur is very unnaturally colored, like my father’s. He wanted us to seem more related than only having fur and tails, so we have the same patterns. They are differently colored though. Of course, I’ve only taken his word for it.>

<People who are mammals on Sphirin are colored much like their counterparts here. As far as I know, there are no mammals here with fur that is blue, red grey and yellow. His fur is unnaturally colored as well, and got a lot of attention on his home planet.>
