"I have training with guns... Disarming men and how to shoot them down. Not much training in hand to hand combat unfortunately... That's my downfall..." He shrugged slightly, looking around the area.

Well lucky for you, I can survive on a battlefield with only my bare hands... And a suit of protective armor, but the skills still apply without it.
-
"Why is that lucky for me...?" Though she couldn't see it beneath his helmet, his eyebrow raised at her.
-
Because I can give you the basics of situational awareness. After I deal with these three, of course. *She wasn’t usually one to offer free training, or even training for money for that matter, but there weren’t enough people patrolling the streets in Dojoville, even with the new DNWs. She pulled out her phone and dialed 911.* Uhm, hi, yes. I’m Sapphire from the Dojo, you may remember I recently made a criminal deposit a few days ago? Yeah the tiger lady, although I’m a Sphirin, not a furry. Yes, I’ve got three more for you outside of (name of the jewelry store here.) I hope you don’t mind if I leave them unaccompanied? They’re zip-tied. Alright, thanks. *She closed her phone and pocketed it.* Get on a roof.

"Four." Nightstalker corrected, counting them up. One he had taken down, one she had killed, then the other three they had taken down. "But that's a difference in a single number, not much of a big deal..." He chuckled softly, rushing over to a fire escape and leaped upward. He pulled himself up the ladder, rushing up the stairs toward the roof.
-
*She looked down at the fourth, practically crushed from when he had landed on him. He was most definitely dead as well. She sighed and followed him up the fire escape.*
-
The two exited out onto the roof of the building, watching into the alleyway as some of the DNW showed up with a few dojo members. The bandits were hauled off and Nightstalker looked over to her. "This is prime time for us vigilantes. With that old Malcolm Darimon rising to power and setting up a night watch... Most of what we do will be legal."
-
*She shushed him before he could even start speaking and motioned to the people moving around below.* Suppose we were hypothetically going to attack them, we couldn’t just jump down like you did. What are they armed with?
-
"Depends on the type of bandits. Some use bladed weaponry, others use weaponry that's more advanced..."
-
No, what do those DNW’s and Dojo members have? You can’t assume an enemy’s loadout without seeing for yourself.
One of the Dojo members is Vorim. As far as he can tell Vorim has some sort of energy rifle and a long, thin club.
-
"Well, there's the Trayverns. Use bladed weaponry. There's a new police force who will be using weaponry such as assault rifles..."
-
*She face-palmed and then wrapped her arm around his shoulder to pull him close. She brandished a finger down toward the group of people.* Bladed weapons is not an acceptable answer if you want to live. Tell me: what weapons those people have with them? Be as specific as you can.
-
Nightstalker eyed the DNW's in the alleyway. Two of them had spears, another two had swords and the fifth had an assault rifle. "Spears, swords, katanas... Odachi and machetes."

Edited by Skatch142: 1/24/2018 10:33:56 PMRight, good. Now what about my cousin down there? The Dojo member. *She pointed to Vorim who had his hand placed on the boss’s shoulder. It seemed to emanate a blue glow which was mirrored in the man’s eyes.*
-
"Looks like an energy rifle. Maybe a club of some kind?" Nightstalker asked, squinting his eyes to look at Vorim.
-
*She nodded.* You may not be able to identify every firearm, but you can often recognize what type of projectile it fires or emits. Trying to identify their weapons beforehand will keep you from jumping off of a building only to be blasted by a shotgun. Part two of this lesson counts for abnormal abilities. It seems like the vast majority of people in this city and the Dojo have them, even if they’re human. Search for those as well. *Vorim had moved away from the living bandits and was currently placing a one of the casualties into a body bag. He did not use his hands, however. One of the corpses was surrounded in the same blue glow which emanated from his palm, drifting through the air before it descended into a bag.*
-
"Telekinesis." Night nodded at Vorim, trying to identify the power he was using.
-
Mhmm. Now, who is the one who would pose the most danger to you?
-
"Armour piercing rounds, or perhaps people who use pyrokinesis. Heavy damage that could negate my armour. '
-
Out of the people down there, Night, stay focused. *She gave him an annoyed glare.*
-
"Vorim. Energy rounds might be able to pierce my armour and that bandit with the shotgun. Heavy damage will do damage to my body, even if the armour protects me."
-
Correct. And don’t forget the telekinesis, who knows what he could be able to lift with that power. When I took out the bandits, I would’ve gone for the leader but the one with the shotgun was about to hit you again. You need to prioritize your targets, starting with the either the most dangerous or the one which poses the biggest threat to you, an ally, or an innocent.
-
"That much I know...." Nightstalker nodded his head in appreciation of her words.
-
Good. *She stepped away from the edge and motioned for him to come forward.*
-
Nightstalker stood tall, following her toward the center of the roof.
-
*She got into a guard.* _Are you ready to spar? And just in case you don’t actually know what I mean by sparring like some other people; I mean no weapons and no intention to hurt your opponent._
