The birds pecked out the eyes of their enemies, trampling those that were unlucky enough. The emus were being slaughtered, but their sheer numbers made the countless lives lost not even leave a dent in their numbers.

"[i]Receptum![/i]" [i]One commanding word rang through the air, as the Trayvens would begin to back away from the slaughter, pulling the emus deeper into the city. Their numbers were dropping, and while they weren't as numerous as the emus, they certainly held them in place still.[/i]
