Low Orbit around Tatakai
Sophie, we’ve got life readings on LP-22, right under us. We have no logged bases here, and no registered cities either, mind checking it out?
“Don’t mind at all, heading down in two.”
The German pilot Sophie was already suited up, and in the hangar. Her ship, The Blue Wing sat waiting for her with the cockpit open, already starting up as she climbed in. Her take off was already logged when the hatch closed, immediately pulling away to outside of the ship’s interior.
Within a few minutes she was moving below the cloudline, swiftly reaching a safe spectating hight.
“I’m seeing some kind of city, maybe a base. It as mac cannons, but a wide open gate, so I’m not so sure...
I’ll go check it out.”
Without objection from her commanding teammate, she flies down to the surface of the planet, landing quietly close to Dojoville, only maybe 20-30 meters away. She jumps out, locking the cockpit.
Sophie heads over to the open gates, in her flight suit and even her helmet still. She was a bit cautious and wanted to make sure she could run if she needed to.
What do you see?
“Not much, it’s just a city. I’ll probably go off coms for a bit if you don’t mind.”
She did as she said, and walked into the city, seeing if she could meet anyone, maybe get some info off of them.
Now finished, open
By now the city was repaired, its buildings having a distinct Japanese undertone to them but looking fairly modern. People walked about, with a good few to ask about the place. Two stood out in particular. One was a younger looking lady with masculinely short hair who seemed to be locking up a training studio of sorts. She was about 5’8”, wearing black pants and a dark red sweatshirt as she did, a duffle bag over her shoulder. She seemed nice enough to talk to. The other was an Italian man, who seemed to be entertaining a crowd with street magic: making cards appear and finding people’s like nothing. He was 5’7”, his skin lightly tanned as well and hair dirty blond. He wore loose blue jeans, and a dark green t-shirt
-
Sophie walked past the magician for now, taking a peek at a trick or two, but going for the girl. She seemed to be the least bother-able. “Hello.” She greets her with a strong German accent, with a bit of a wave as well.
-
"Hi!" A golden blonde woman waved to her. Her battle ribes were as golden as her hair, and had finely carved golden wings sprouting from it.
-
“Hello.” Sophie spoke in a thick German accent, waving back lightly. She was a bit dazzled by the robes, a bit confused if this was a cosplay or some legitimate armor. She decided it had to be cosplay. No armor would be that shiny. “Who are you? What is this place?”
-
"This is the Dojo. Place of warriors, scoundrels, and getting invaded."
-
“Uhm...excuse me? Getting invaded?”
-
"It has multiple meanings."
-
Outside of the gates she noticed a eagle that looked like it was made completely out of gold fly a few hundred meters away. It had a massive wingspan of about 13 feet and it almost shined in the sunlight/moonlight. It then flew above the city were it landed on the city’s gates looking like it was watching the people who came in and out.

<That is a nice ship. There is most likely a carrier in orbit, isn’t there?> *She was met at the gate by a rather strange looking woman who was undoubtedly the source of the staticky voice. She wore a purple hoodie which was left unzipped with a black tank top underneath. She wore a pair of jeans as well, which stopped at her ankles. From where the jeans stopped, a paw covered in yellow-orange fur began. Her hands had only four fingers and were covered in the same fur as well. Her neck was covered in dark blue fur that continued underneath her tank top. Her head, however was made of silvery metal which narrowed into a sort of snout and there was a fin on either side which flashed a faint blue rather quickly. She had no eyes or mouth, only the fins and a couple of small vents.* <Who are you?>
-
“I’ll have to ask you that first.” She spoke with a thick German accent in her voice, though it was a rather aggressive sounding accent it still had a natural nonchalant tone to it. Sophie leans against the gate frame just in front of the interesting person. She crosses her arms, but not before undoing the strap over her shotgun holster, just in case.

Edited by Skatch142: 1/26/2018 1:11:25 PM<This area is where I live. It is customary for the guests to introduce themselves first.> *She was entirely unarmed, having come only out of interest. Her arms crossed and she leaned against the side of the gate across the road from the woman.*
-
“Hmph. Very well then. My name is Sophie, Sophie Winter.” Still, she wanted to be careful. Even if she had just come along out of curiosity, it was good to be prepared.
-
<My name is Alice-142. It is nice to meet you Sophie. Now, why have you come here?> *She tilted her head as she spoke, the fins flashing in time with each syllable.*
-
“Well, my unit and I happened to come across here, and we weren’t aware there was a city, or whatever this is, here.” Sophie made small hand motions as she talked, naturally waving them back and forth.
-
<Well, there is in fact a city that goes by the name of Dojoville. On the peak of the mountain is the Dojo itself where warriors of all kinds are welcome.>
-
“Interesting.” Sophie looks around for a moment. “Are there any...military units here?”
-
<Yes, many from dozens of different military forces.>
-
“Oh, which are they?” She asks, subtly turning her coms back on so her team could hear.
-
<I have not looked into it. It is not a subject I have interest in. My father’s brother and cousin are both members of the Sphirin Navy, though they have not been in contact with a superior officer for years.>
-
“Huuuh...okay. Well thank you, that’s all I really needed to know. Maybe we can meet again some time, but I’ll need to be going now.” Sophie turns to walk away, back to her fighter ship without another word afterwards.
-
<Why won’t you stay longer?> *She asked as Sophie was walking away.*
