So quick run down me and my brother share our purchases through the PlayStation network. I didn’t renew my membership for PlayStation plus and I wasn’t able to connect to the servers it let’s me choose my character. Once I did renew it I am still not able to connect I erased all my brothers info from my PS4 and his game ad ons (destiny 2 expansion pack) and erased my game as well and re initialized my PS4 and equipped my character with the equipment not from the dlc and I still can’t connect can someone please help to connect to the destiny 2 server. I have the physical disc of destiny 2 I’m not using anything from my brothers account anymore.

Do you use the PSN mobile apps? If so, log out of ALL of them. Then log out of your console, then clear the console's cache. Log back on your console and try again. Most people are forgetting to log out of all mobile PSN apps. That needs to be done along with clearing your console cache.

Edited by nodogaking: 1/28/2018 12:13:09 PMIf you get a black screen and an error message after selecting your character then it is the same problem a lot of other people face and apparently it is an issue on sony's part and not bungies. One person ssid that it helps if you log into your psn account on another Playstation and boot up Destiny once, but I couldn't confirm it yet.
