Prophecy Weapons Flavor Text Analysis (Power Weapons)
<Last one, easiest ones.
A tale that's different from the rest: the thread unfurls against the clocks.
The one the Speaker loved the best must have a perfect paradox.
- Perfect Paradox
Simple, we are Saint-14's inspiration... but we were resurrected in the future. The story "unfurls" or progresses against the clocks, implying time travel, and it is different because of this.
The Speaker loved Saint-14 the most, and Saint-14 had a perfect paradox.
See who's robed as if a god, who stands with pride above the rest!
Destroy this ancient nameless fraud! Destroy the one whose death was blessed!
- Future Safe 10
Ok nevermind... umm... alright let's do this.
Speaker?
Hear me out...
The Speaker is robed. He took command over the City with the Consensus. He is a fraud, as he never actually spoke to the Traveler and vice versa. He spoke FOR it. He hasn't been given a name. He's been there since before the City was built. But was his death blessed? Are they talking about his initial death or his death by the Consul? I'm not sure...
And that's all. There's a lot of words I don't know and a lot of words that I did know used strangely because these are all rhymes... and I can't really do rhymes.
Leave your thoughts below I guess...>
the one whose death was blessed
It could be referring either to the traveler(“died” during the collapse, to stop the darkness, now worshiped as a god) or the guardian(resurrected, and given paracausal powers, “blessed” with light/immortality)
