The usual in terms if Dojo was seen, people doing their daily business, armor and weaponry seen everywhere, a man in sixteenth century clothing passed by him. It wad all so weird yet ordinary in the city.
One person caught his eye however, a woman with a deep shade of vibrant blue hair, a tattoo of three hexagons on her left cheekbone, her eyes a deep red color. She seemed a bit out of place, standing at roughly 7ft, her hair reaching down to her chin, slightly unkept. Her face was soft, a certain youth about it, making her young and stunning. A warm smile on her face that could melt the heart of the coldest people.
She was laughing at the moment, sharing a good chuckle with a person waiting to cross the street, seemed she was going in the same direction.
Her clothing was casual, a black hoodie, unzipped, with a simple shirt under it, the lettering hard to make out at the moment. She wore simple denim jeans, hugging her frame, flaunting her numble, curved physique. Her body seemed toned yet slender, athletic yet kept a certain femininity about it.
The only thing that really added to the image was a strap seen under the jacket, it was hard to tell exactly what it was from his distance.
The woman laughed again then, exchanging a few words once more, clearly telling a joke at the moment as the light prepared to change.

It wasn't the hair or the tattoo that made the woman stand out amongst all the other impeccable faces of Dojoville, rather it was her normalcy that made Adrien stare in awe. Her black hoodie and the shirt, which didn't scream in the same way that the medievalist moments ago had when walking by. It was a rare sight in the city, but one he figured he needed to appreciate. Adrien found himself barely able to keep from staring, so he compromised with himself - Sitting on a nearby bench across the road, he took out his phone and started to scroll through his feed, occasionally glancing up at the stranger in a sense of awe and attraction, mainly to her being so normal.
-
The light changed then and she started walking in his direction. She had a longer stride, outpacing others but a good bit. Her walk was alluring, the way she would sway her hips dragged eyes, yet it was also brisk and formal, nearly military like.
-
A woman after his own heart, metaphorically speaking. Adrien cut her a glance that had been longer this time, savouring the strides. He wondered why he was acting like this - Stalkerish, it was strange - but he really was too far gone in to care much.
-
She noticed him then, hard not too with how he was gawking like a seagull at her. She gave a short smile then, flashing perfect whites and a warm grin that felt too good to see go away. Then gave a short wave, a friendly onem
-
Adrien felt it was tough to maintain his composure, what with his strange actions getting him a smile and a wave - Hell, back home it would usually get him a slip of paper and a fine. He moved his hand up and waved back without realizing, awkwardly so at that. He wasn't good at this, to be sure.
-
The woman strode past him then, a grin still on her face when her back was finally to him. She was getting away, the odd girl was a sight to behold at best.
-
Adrien managed to recompose himself for only the briefest of moments as she was getting away, but he knew that he needed to do something. Being a borderline stalker already worked once today, so he stood up and started to follow her. Since he was undoubtedly shorter than her and slower than her strides, he had to jog to keep up and follow behind her.
-
Luckily for him, she turned, entering a coffee shop not too far down the way. It was small, family owned, and usually family owned meant good service, over mega corporations. It was some weird name, something about a Hero's Inn.
-
Adrien already figured it had a name like that, but even Hero Inn managed to catch him off guard with the cliche-ness of it. He made his way up to the woman, slipping beside her. He tried his best to come off as if he wasn't just following her the entire way, but he wasn't the best actor. "Fancy meeting you here."
-
She grinned again glancing down to look at him as she stood in the line. She spoke then, a youthful voice, filled with equal parts joy and sarcasm. "I guess it is indeed. Couldn't stop staring, eh?"
-
"Yeah, sorry about that." Adrien scratched the back of his neck and looked off to the menu ahead. He was already here, so he figured he'd get something to drink while he was. "It's just that you dress so normally, and nobody else here is even close, you know?"
-
"I noticed that too, people here are just weird in general, don't really like it. But I'm stationed here, no room to complain really." She shrugged. "Think I might get a sandwich."
-
"I'll probably just grab a coffee." Stationed? Adrien didn't figure her too much of the military type, though the rules of this place were different than the rules he went by in America. If this was how the military dressed, what was their casual wear? "So you're in the military or something? You said you were stationed, what branch?"
-
She gave a quizzical look then, but realized what he meant. "Right! Yeah. I'm not in the military that is for Dojo, off world, keeping a supply and embassy in check while we work with another big shot empire." She spoke so casually about it, calm as ever at the moment.
-
"Oh, that sounds pretty cool. Whats your military from, is it a private sector one or a nation?" The only experience Adrien had with these was a few ones back home, so he figured it was a fifty-fifty shot of her either being in some space nation's army or a type of PMC. Either way, he barely knew they were out here, given how the police force are in the city.
-
"Diplomatic nation, couple thousand lightyears away. Here on trade and alliance with the other empire." She stepped forward in line then, a few more before she would order.
-
Adrien stepped forwards as well, behind her in line yet beside her in person. "Whats the nation called?"
-
"Formally, we hail from a small system called Asgard, ask we took that as our name. But, usually its ONSC or Rubicon. Office of Naval Space Command is what the government is."
-
"Asgard? Like, the Viking gods' home?"
-
"Yeah, system is called that because of the size of the planets there. Home world is twice as big as this one."
-
"Damn. That must be big, is it a full planet?"
-
"Fully colonized? No, one major continent is however, planet is big enough to support a massive population." She stepped forward again then.
-
"Is it habitable?" If they were a large nation, Adrien would assume they'd colonized their planet already. Seems logical, in his eyes.
-
"Obviously. Along with the main moon of the planet. Nation colonized both, we have installations and stations on other planets in that system as well."
-
"Alright. So what's got a big nation like that poking its head out here? Isn't it a far flight?"
