A random duel that I can’t think of a name for
on top of a Cliff somewhere
Lysanther was standing at the very edge of a steep cliff. He was watching the sun set. The elf was playing his violin softly and poetically. The elf was expecting company, he knew someone was coming, and that he was very exposed. The elf had no weapons or armor on him, because he didn’t need them. He was just standing there, watching the sun set, awaiting the arrival of his opponent.

"Cocky." Came the disdainful voice of his foe. Sounded older and gravely. "You're a right dojo-kid. I don't get you people." He sighed as the sound of a weapon being drawn from a holster -two in fact- became audible. The sounds of two safeties being removed and two rounds being chambered suggested pistols. "Ladies first."
-
The elf turns around, still playing his violin, but also looking to see what’s behind him. “Greetings, I expect your here to kill me”
-
"Hmph. Any last words?" It was an older man, dressed in traveling clothes with improvised armor. He held two .45s and had them raised
-
“No not really. But theses sent my last” he says walking forward playing a violin
-
He just sighs and shoots. Reflexes or no ...you got shot. .....I mean you don't have the reflexes to react to two bullets at once. This'll be interesting
-
The hologram disappear as the bullets collided with it. “You shot me” came a voice from above as the actual mage started floating down from above. Then he conjures a wall of fire in front of the shooters
-
He jumps through, quickly enough to escape with little damage. He fires another few shots at the mage while assessing the situation
-
One bullet whistles past the mages ears. The the others are deflected by a magical shield around the mage. The shield goes down but the elf doesn’t. The elf was still floating in the air. He looked down on the shooter and fired a bolt of lightning at him. The elf’s other hand started glowing as a fire ball was being made. The elf looked physically week. If you could only get him to the ground
hint: that was a hint
-
The lightning struck him, making his muscles seize. But, he fell backwards, so the fire missed and he was spared further damage. He scrambled up, firing two shots at his legs.
-
One of the bullet misses. The other hits the elf’s skinny robed leg. The elf yelped in pain, but continued flying. And he released a fire ball down at the shooters below

He just backpedaled to avoid the flame as he kept firing. This time he aimed for the lower torso, not immediately fatal but could easily become so without proper treatment
