Natalie had grown bored with her contempt state in life.
Well, not exactly. It wasn't her life that bored her, it was the lack of life. There was an aspect of thrill she no longer let in her daily routine, and she knew it. The Manor she lived in was usually filled with guests for parties and other various hosting events, and Amy was there to keep her entertained when nobody else was at the place, or when Nat was too hungover to host. She needed to do something, but she didn't know what - Until, that is, she got an idea. There was something she would do, something requiring her older skillsets of stealth, hopefully.
She donned a deep blue sweater and tights, grabbed her staff, and was out the door only a moment after tossing Amy a keyring, one with access to a variety of things within the house. Natalie went through the streets of her upper-class Trayven neighbourhood, eagerly walking past the numerous neighbours and their lackeys until she had left the district of mansions and estates, entering a much bleaker section of Trayven control.
It was the downtown areas that had given Natalie a sense of rejuvenation. The nightlife wasnt even what attracted her, it was just the district itself. The immesurably tall buildings were a great climb; the back alleys and fire escapes usually had people of all different backgrounds, from street dealers to classy folk getting their fix of women for the evening; and most importantly, there was an old Dojoville PD barrack she liked to snoop around in.
She jogged into the back alley behind the building and found herself slipping through a broken glass window, cutting her sweater's sleeves and ripping small holes all along the shins of her tights. Natalie crept her way through the halls, which were sparse with only a few off-duty officers staying at their stations, until she found herself in their break room. The raven-haired lady grabbed a plastic grocery bag and found the box of doughnuts, putting them inside one by one until it was full. Backtracking was easy, and she had a few more rips of the tights on the side of her thigh and sweater, though none big enough to show any real skin or leave incriminating evidence.
Nat climbed herself up to the roof of the building and emptied the bag off the front side. A pile of chocolate and honey glaze donuts rested in front of their doors; All she had to do now was wait for a cop to return.
((Open. Just figured I'd pull some shittery with Nat to get her back in the swing of things.))

"You look ridiculous." Star giggled, climbing onto the roof behind Natalie. She wasn't overly stealthy, but it was proficient for a non-stealth based fighter. "What're you doing, Nat?" The blue and orange eyed girl had on a black hoodie and her own black tights with a few tears of their own.
-
"Right now? Keeping myself busy," Nat responded, looking at the doughnut pile one last time. She turned away and sat down, leaning up against the waist-high lip of the rooftop. She crossed her legs and stretched them out, leaning the back of her head against the wall. "What brings you to the police station? Aren't you wanted for being hot enough to set the place on fire?"
-
"Ooh...flirty as always." Star copied Nat's way of sitting, laying beside her with a smile. "Thanks, but I was just bored and wanted to follow you."
-
"If you were anybody else, I'd call you a stalker," Nat said with a light laugh, tilting her head so that she was looking at Star.
-
Star laughed a little herself and turned her head to Nat. "Can you blame me for wanting to follow around a woman like you? Your backside is rather enticing."
-
"If that's fancy person for saying 'You have a nice ass,' then thanks," Nat said, turning slightly to give Star a view.
-
Star rolled her eyes, their color turning pink as her cheeks blushed. "Oh stop it, Nat....It is nice though....Like, damn." She giggled, trying to avert her eyes in embarrassment.
-
"Take a picture, it lasts longer. And it helps a lot later compared to just thinking about it," Nat jokingly said.

Edited by Stitch: 1/31/2018 2:07:54 AMStar crossed her arms over her chest and smiled wider. "Oh shush....What are the donuts for anyway? I would've just eaten them myself. I mean, I know it'll go to my thighs and what not, but they're so good."
-
"The doughnuts are for an experiment. I'm trying to see how many cops eat one before coming in."
-
"I'd eat two..." Star sighed, giving Natalie puppy dog eyes. "Can I have one?"
-
"They're all on the floor down there though."
-
"Good point." Star uncrossed her arms. "Maybe I'll get some on the way back to my bed...which is rather cold without you by the way." She nudged Nat with her elbow, smirking. "We might not be together together, but I wouldn't mind just having someone closeby...I get a tad lonely, y'know?"
-
"Yeah, I see what you mean. Maybe we can head to my manor after we grab some? My Squire and I can keep you nice and warm."
-
"Thanks, Nat, I can't stand the loneliness anymore. Wait, you have a Squire? Since when? Who is it? What're they like? What do they do?" Star asked quickly, sounsing a tad surprised.
-
"Well it's... A long story. Amy, my Squire, her job is basically tend to my stuff - Property, armour, the like. Really we just sit around and -blam!- each other all day out of boredom."
-
Star chuckled and nodded. "That sounds like you....You're not like, dating her though, right?"
-
"Nah, she's my Squire is all. Why?"
-
"No reason." Star immediately looked away, back down at the donuts. "Uhh...So..."
-
"We should get going, huh?"
-
"Yeah, that sounds good." Star began to sit up. "It has been too long since we've talked."
-
"Yeah. What's it been, two or three months?" Nat went to the side of the building, slipping down through the fire escape to ground level.
-
Star followed closely behind, getting a little stuck at points and overall slower. "Yep, but that's probably my fault for being busy..."
-
"Nah, I've been either partying or hungover so there wasn't much time to hang out." Once Star was with her, Natalie started walking to a doughnut place just up the road.
-
"Oh, right. Hey, did you ever recieve that uhh...package of Trayvern soldiers I sent to your place?" Star continued to follow, now walking beside her.
