Edge Of The Multiverse:
Within the multiverse there laid a gatekeeper. A monster that knows all, sees all, and thinks about every move. Some seek it for forbidden knowledge, unnatural power, a miracle that can only be bestowed from the likes of a god.
A single man standing at the edge of the multiverse commuted with such a creature barring gifts of another god. He wished to improve his knowledge on combat to challenge monsters that assumed humanity was in their clutches. Somewhere to learn so many different ways to fight, different ways to heal, techniques to drive back beasts of unnatural design. The gate keeper, Yog Sothoth, thought for a while before opening a door. A world of several eras thrown together sat on the other side, the future soldier, a knight clad in armor, a creature not quite human but close enough to be recognized as such, Tatakai.

Just outside stood a man. He didn't look particularly impressive at first. A long jacket made with black and white cloth, a violin on his back, a rather standard Kreigmaseir blade sheathed just behind it, and a repeating pistol holstered at his hip. Nothing the Dojo hasn't already seen before.
The only time something seemed off was when a mugger came at him. Instead of shooting the man down, he just pulled the gun and waved it in the muggers face. The mugger proceeded to gasp before dropping to the floor shaking uncontrollably. The Violinist moved on seeming unphased muttering something under his breath. Anyone who checked on the mugger would see nothing was physically wrong with him, he just laid there, balled up looking traumatized. What happened could have been anyone's guess.
