I've noticed when an online game is in the middle of loading that if you press the home button it has a possibility of causing the Xbox to freeze and cause it to go black screen of death or green if you power off or hard reset is performed. At critical you may get the E105 error and may have to do a factory reset. Pass the word fellow guardians.
