So, I was just recently listening to the "Music of the Spheres" and "Hope for the Future" which is some of the Music in Destiny by Martin O' Donnel, Michael Salvitori, and Paul McCartney and unfortunately most of it wasn't even used because Actvision cut most of it out and then Martin O' Donnel got fired, but that's all old news at this point.
The point of me bringing this up is because while I was listening to this music, ... I could hear and feel the love and passion that went into this music. I have never in my life felt so immersed into music to the point where as I felt like shedding a tear at points, and that's rare. And to know that all that hard work ultimately led to most of it being cut out and only bits and pieces of it being used because Activison felt as if it was too much honestly infuriates me....
Same thing with Joseph Staten who left during Destiny 1's development because after he had spent hard work and passionate hours writing and scripting Destiny's story, Bungie decided to scrap the entirety of his work and start over because apparently, the supercut, which was a two hour movie version of the game's story that was made by Joseph Staten was "too complicated" and "too campy".
And then abracadabra, Destiny 1 shipped incomplete with their Narrative Lead gone and their Lead Audio Composer gone...and if that wasn't enough, Activison and Bungie are currently in one of the most malicious contracts I have ever seen with unfair release dates, micro-transactions, etc...it utterly shatters my heart to see what this franchise could have become and the potential that completely surrounds the game if it weren't for the Activision contract and flat out greed....this game would've and could've been the game of an entire generation....but it didn't, ...and we all know why....
The Destiny community has to be the most strongest, most passionate community I have ever come across. And I honestly don't think I'll ever find another one like it. We have been beaten to the ground, brought back up, and beaten again over and over and over again for almost five years now, but we're still standing, maybe with a fractured leg and a shit ton of bruises but we're still standing. But the thing I'm most worried about is how long that'll last for...
With Destiny 2's absolutely god awful state right now, and the stupidity and hippocracy that we have had to put up with, with Activision and Bungie, all I'm hoping for is that we still stand strong and show that we're still here, and that we still care for this game.
Right now, this is a bit of an open letter to Bungie that I wanna get out of the way, I mean this a feedback forumn isn't it? Even though I'm pretty sure they don't read the damn thing....
Bungie, ... whether we like it or not, you guys are the ones that created this passionate community. Even though your decisions that stem all the way back to Destiny 1's development have been absolutely god awful, you guys need to do something....and now. I think I speak for all of the community when I say we're tired of all the shadyness, we're tired of all the hidden greedy and predatory tactics with Micro-transactions, we're tired of the rushed development cycles. This game should never have been rebooted and definitely should have NEVER been given 16 to 18 months of development time. We didn't want a new game, ... we wanted DESTINY. You guys know that Activison is tearing your studio apart and we're not stupid, we see it too, and there's only so much we can do, you need to fight to change that contract Bungie....please.
Now, I don't know if this franchise is gonna survive or not, and at the moment, chances are as slim as they have ever been. But I know one thing for certain, I will stick by this community till the end, even if it is crumbling slowly....if you made it this far, thank you for taking the time to read what I had to say :)

Edited by Jeebs: 3/12/2018 6:54:05 AMThe community can't do anything at this point, a game like this needs way more development time rebooting a game meant to be a mmorpg is crazy, I don't think we'll ever see worldofdestinycraft. Nice post though 👍
